In the world.

Ricardo is excellent but Alexander Arnold is quite possibly your best player and another level higher than any RB in the prem.

The crazy thing is that AA is just 21 years old. I think eventually he'll be a CM. He's too damn good.

I could definitely see Trent having a Philipp Lahm trajectory by moving from RB to CM as he has the requisite skills, but he has absolutely no need to. With the way Klopp uses symmetrical fullbacks as deep playmakers at Liverpool, Trent (and Robertson) represent a perfect synergy between player and role. There isn't another fullback on the planet more suited to play that position in Klopp's Liverpool, because the role was likely built around him. Unbelievable talent.

How was Jorginho still on the pitch after that challenge on Guendouzi?
That's always a second yellow card.

Var favours the big teams in no calls.

Well we're outclassing Newcastle even without Vards. Only Tielemans letting down the high standard.

Maddison is outstanding.

Easiest match I've ever watched in my life. easier than the 9-0 victory at Southampton. Newcastle are woeful - yet above Arsenal in the table.

Arsenal are in a dark patch, no doubt. I hope they find their way out of it soon. I like Arsenal personally. All my desires for Liv to win the prem, and run away with it aside....I really like a league with a good 5-6 teams who have a real shot at it right up to the end.

I always default to the idea of less tinkering by the league: Replay, Caps, Trade rules. I just never seems to get where you want it to go, and you end up throwing layers and layers of rules. BUT.....I would like to see something done about these super-teams. I dunno...perhaps 3 or 4 players have to be from your youth club....whatever. It goes against what I believe in, but at the same time, I feel the league has not been the same since Chelsea got bought by whats-his-face in the early 2000's.

You could argue that ManUre had a more dominating run (much more dominating) and that was pretty damn organic. So I dunno. I'd just like to see 6 or so teams in the thick of it up to the end. It's always way more interesting.

That's just hard to imagine. The finances in football are through the roof and so damn competitive. In NBA, NFL or NHL the league literally have monopoly in the sports of Basketball, American Football and Icehockey to do whatever they want to. If the Prem started with some regulations just to have more teams compete for the league titel every year but less competitive in Europe, the top-players would likely go elsewhere.

Fact is, these superteams in Football are somewhat only dominant for a few years. Who thought Liverpool would be this dominant just two years ago? Smart business, great manager and staff - that's really all it comes down to. Arsenal, United, Spurs and Chelsea all have the same opportunity. Leicester are doing great, West Ham and Everton are rich AF - or atleast have owners willing to spend the money. So far those two just missed miserably. Hell, even Villa and Wolves are spending more than some of the 'big 6' clubs.

Even if the FA made some regulations that required 3-4 from own academy in the startling lineup, we would most likely still have a team or two hitting their peak at a given season, with other teams in a sort of rebuild mode. Liverpool can, maybe, be dominating a season or two more - if lucky, before they need to make some more major changes in the squad in order to keep momentum - and that's almost impossible. That's why since United won 3 titles in a row from 06/07-08/09, no teams repeated before City won a 2nd last year - and then they've taken a major dump this season. If(long way to go... :P) Liverpool wins this year, we could see Liverpool take the same dump as City and then Chelsea could make a huge jump.

The last 2½ seasons with City in 17/18 and 18/19 and Liverpool in 18/19 and so far in 19/20 is something we haven't seen before. Again with the money the other teams have in the league, it would be almost impossible to keep dominating. I wouldn't be surprised if in 2021/22 season teams like United and Chelsea could very well compete and even beat Liverpool and City - they just needs to make the right decisions, like Liverpool have done with actually very little money spent compared to other 'superteams'.

Fake head injuries and then the restart are becoming a joke.

The 3 things I have always wanted to see in Footy: 1) I'd like to see offsides be "clear" offsides. Good space between the forward, and the defender. It's subjective, and will no-doubt have tons of issues....but I get so tired seeing knee's slightly off. A toe here, a toe there. Screw that. If you see space between the players, then call it.....otherwise tie goes to the runner! 2) I think the league should look back after games, and any clear dives / or something like that result in a game's suspension. If the dive/cheat directly results in a goal (ie...penalty kick, free kick) or if the other guy gets carded because of it...you can go 2 or 3 game suspensions.

3) Rule number 3...and most important to me: If you stop play, because your leg is about to come off, or grab your head...and convince the ref that you can't remember what team you play for....or any of that sh*&, then once your taken off, you can't come back onto the pitch for at least 2-3 minutes. I'd prefer 5. Watching these guys roll around, grabbing their ankles like they are hanging by a thread, and getting carted off on a stretcher....only to bounce back SPRINTING AROUND 30 seconds later is BS. If the game stops because your moments from death....then certainly you need a couple minutes on the side. Watch 95% of that crap go away the next week.

Looks like City woke up this morning, and realized they are world class. Hope it's too little, too late!

They woke up against us. As I said then, they won't lose another game this season, but you are too far ahead of them to worry.

We won't see second again.
