Nah, cause then he'd be stuck discrediting the only striker who's better than Yilmaz, other than Drogba.

I think they had a great half, doing exactly what they had to. Negredo almost provided a couple scoring opportunities.

If things were to continue like this with no substitutions, my money would be on city winning 1-0. But If Barca bring Neymar on for Sanchez (extremely ineffective today) then it could change everything,

Yeah I thought city had a good half. Barca didn't create any decent chances and had a ton of useless possession. City should bring on nasri last 20-25 mins and get a win.

0-3 first half but leverkusen still qualified no problem.

What do you expect? Look at how much money Paris invests every season and look at how much Leverkusen invests. :dontknow:

One can only hope that Leverkusen's confidence is completely crushed and they finish 5th in the Bundesliga this season.
Leverkusen usually beat the teams they are on level with but as soon as they play a big club they start sh*tting their pants. Embarrassing.

Whatever happens, City need a goal. Going into Camp Nou without a goal would be terrible for them.

I fixed the "huge team" part. I love my Kaiserslautern team, and in no way we are "huge"

(FYI, Kaiserslautern, who play in the 2nd Bundesliga, miraculously defeated Leverkusen last week in the German Cup ON THE ROAD )

I mean you are historically bigger than them...but I was actually more thinking United this year and Barca last time they got trounced in the CL...

I wonder with which kind of excuses Völler will come up this time for this f*ck performance.

It was pretty clear that PSG would easily go through but the way Leverkusen is playing is embarassing.

I hate PSG and Ibrahimovic, but he's one hell of a player.

Julian Brandt on at the half. This hsould be interesting as that kid is a great talent who plays with courage.

Looked like a pretty clear foul against Barca before they won that possession but that's a clear red for Demichelis.

Demichelis doing us a favour and eliminating City. Nice.
