The only thing you can say is my English but with this English I became the VP of world's biggest bank within 4 years of working there at the age of 26. It seems like another american will join the league soon as Werder Bremen's currently talking to Aron Johanson of AZ Alkmaar.
Transfer fee is said to be somewhere between €4M - €5M for the 24 year old striker.

Rumors have it that Thomas Tuchel wants Xherdan Shaqiri to join Borussia Dortmund.

Yup, he could have easily moved to one of these clubs and even play internationally while not getting less money. And all of these clubs were not that stacked upfront going into offseason, so there would have been a real chance of getting playing time.

I forgot to ask this question: Why do you support Mainz when you're from Frankfurt? I know you said before you didnt like Eintracht and their fans(dont know about FSV), but why plucky little Mainz of all clubs then? It would be like if a guy from L.A were fan of Milwaukee Bucks or something like that.
