Great goalie play in Japan and Germany.

4 saves in a row by Japan

Great save by Germany.

I mean right now it is kinda of a F off type of day at work and we are all seeing the game.

I was actually off the previous todays just to see the us and Mexico games

Japan has a fairly decent squad. That's not a cakewalk.

And German defense besides Rüdiger is a joke.

Raum, Süle, Kehrer...these guys are basically slalom poles.
And Schlotterbeck is always giving away penalties for free.

So far your assessment of Germany's defenders is true lol, other than Rudiger they look pretty shaky.

Schlotterbeck strikes again.
Actually fat guy Süle too. Would’ve been offside had he moved his fat ass a bit higher lol

Wow, what a terrible goal to concede. Just sleeping and then Neuer letting the ball in on the near post.

Smh ITV (UK TV channel) just completely messed up there, I couldn't see Japan's penalty shout on the replay or anything because they cared more about showing the fans.

And Neuer was at fault in both goals really.

First the shot wasnt that hard and he just parried to the middle.

The second it was if he moved out of the way of the ball.

But yeah, Germany, like Spain don't have the same quality they had a few years ago.

They are most likely using censored stuff they are getting from Fifa. Can’t blame them or anyone else for bad replays.

What a result! Apart from the politics surrounding the tournament, this World Cup has been a joy so far.

Well, against Spain they can go ahead and play in rainbow colors. The tourney is over for us anyway.

Look like Neuer was cheating and assumed he was going to go lower near post.

There is enough quality on the squad to beat the likes of Japan.

I just don’t understand why they field fat guy Süle as RB, slalom pole Raum as LB and Schlotterbeck known for his mistakes as CB.
They could’ve probably fielded the backups Günter, Ginter, Klostermann and Rüdiger and gotten a better result.

Also they don’t have any DM that is actually defending. Gündogan, Kimmich, Goretzka. These guys are everywhere on the pitch but not where they need to be as DM. Wasn‘t the reason for the loss today but in general they are not organized well going backwards.
