Karnezis
Toro-Sokrati-Manolas-Holebas
Maniatis-Karagounis-Kone
Salpingidis-Samaras-Lazaros

No Gekas/Mitroglou and no Katsouranis. Karagounis and Salpingidis starting means they'll be gassed long before the match is over. Happy have Christodoulopoulos is finally playing and Samaras up top isn't a bad thing.

If we're going to score, my ideal scenario will be Kone and Lazaros teaming up for the goal as big fat Serie A **** you to Santos for ignoring them and having Fetfa and Tachtisidis on the bench.

Samaras has played well as the top striker before with Celtic. He didn't look too bad in this spot when we played Argentina in the final 2010 group stage match. He probably won't score from that position, but he can hold the ball, bring extra defenders' attention upon himself and create for others. He's the better option over Mitro, Gekas, and Salpi right now.

Salpi and Kara won't be fit enough for the full 90 minutes, but damn it they'll give their all and I'll take it at this point.

I still fear Holebas and how we'll fair against Gervinho and Aurier coming up the sides.

As always in these types of scenarios, some good luck like in Euro 2012 would be very welcome today.

Calling it now. Greece advances with a 1-0 victory due to an Ivory Coast own goal, that means without scoring a single goal by itself in the group stage. Just make this happen!

The Greek side always looks so unathletic. Receding hairlines, and old man faces everywhere. Even when they won Euro 2004.

Greek attacking with the speed of a continental drift. CIV attacking with the creativity of a stone.

What a horrible blunder by Tioté. That was IDIOTIC, and I know German "defenses".

What a turnover. At least this should make things a little more interesting.
