It's kind of funny, but every time someone goes to the ground after a challenge I'm always like "please, get the **** up you baby". And then they show the challenge and there's always like a massive stomp on the foot, or cleats to the nuts or whatever and I'm always like "ah, well, nevertheless".

My prediction for the second half is that Marrocos will suffer 1 or 2 goals from France in counterattacks, due to having to open up the game.

I hope I'm wrong though, I'm STRONGLY rooting for Marrocos to win this **** match, lol

yeah that is likely. i am just glad game didnt just die down after the first goal like yesterday.

in an ideal situation i would want morocco to win but french win would lead to a better quality final imo. i prefer matches where i know both teams can be dangerous throughout the game, france-england was probably my favorite match of the knockout stages even though last few minutes werent as exciting as some of the other ones.

Spot on (again).

This thing of keeping possession of the ball to the extreme not only kills futebol, for an entertainment perspective, it's also bad for the purpose of the game itself.

They don't play to win, they play to NOT LOSE.

It's like you having a basketball match but you take out the shot clock, then some player scores 2 points and you end up watching the rest of the match with both teams passing the **** ball around, lol.

That happens a lot in some states with HS systems that don't have a shot clock...also seen it at an AAU event. It's so disgusting to watch.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that the FPF has offered José Mourinho the possibility of coaching the national squad while simultaneously retaining his current job coaching AS Roma.

This could be nonsense, but I'd obviously LOVE Mourinho.

Mourinho was reportedly invited by the FPF to coach the national squad back in 2012 when Paulo Bento's contract was set to expire just prior to the qualifiers for the Euro 2012. He was also then offered the job while retaining his main gig at Real Madrid. Mourinho accepted but Florentino Perez did not, remarking at the time that "it wouldn't be ethical for him to have two jobs with so many unemployed coaches."

Despite his heydays likely being behind him, I believe Mourinho may have a lot more leverage right now at Roma then he did at Real.

Sure hire Mouinho for the Portugal national team.

If the goal is to draw a lot of hate to the team.

I get letting some close offside calls to continue until the end of the natural play, but the clear ones like that have no reason for the flag not to immediately go up

Watch a Brazil x Argentina match in the 90's and you'll be speechless, lol.

Argentina's players back then would make Marcus Smart a "fair play" winner!

Yeah, that was an extremely late call.
