No way....a 88th min equalizer and at 93rd minute diving header by Americas GK to send it to extra time....

that missed goal with about 15-20 left in the game by cruz azul could've cost them the title.

If Cruz azul won this in regulation, Teo Gutierrez gets my MotM. If they manage to gets this somehow, Corona gets it by a Marathon. I still believe he is Mexicos best keeper and his performance today solidifies it.

Incredible comeback. Not what I was hoping for...America now matched Chivas for most Mexican D1 titles with 11 each

This has to be the worst choke job of all time. Even worse than Bayern's last year.

Hah, great call :D

I just looked at their roster and thought they would do well. Teo with the goal in the final. Looks like they are winning this thing.

How has Teo looked? He is a talented player, but he is a complete headcase. Tough to trust the guy

Awful player. Played in Turkey for a season. Terrible.

I am far from a fan of Teo, but he is talented. He had no interest on being in Turkey and just acted like a complete idiot. He was the best player in Argentina for a while and has done well in Mexico. He has also been pretty good for the national team.

Having said that, I am on your side that I would not want him on my team at all. He is bound to spit on a ref or punch his own teammate on a big game. Just too much of an idiot to trust in a big game. That is why I don't want him on the national team, especially leaving Muriel and Jackson who are superior players on the bench. Unfortunately for us, frigging Teo plays pretty well alongside Falcao so the coach keeps giving him the nod.

Hey guys, for you that see mexican league, i would like to know if you can give me some info about two players. My team, FCPorto, already got Diego Reyes from America and will probably buy Hector Herrera from Pachuca. Are they good? Any opinion will be great
Thanks

Hey diogo, just saw your post right here. I'm so excited about Reyes and Herrera(potentially) going to Porto for next season. With Porto's track record, its hard not to be excited about what they can bring out in these two young players. Reyes, in my opinion, was the best center back in Liga MX this year. His pairing with el Maza Rodriguez made Club America a nightmare for any attack. He's a big man, can power his way to the ball. So glad he's out of club America.

Herrera is someone who has declined lately. Midfielder who can defend, attack, shoot. He's a work horse, all hustle player and just brings energy to the pitch. Hopefully he does end up in Porto and they can bring him back to the form he was in while playing in the u-20 NT and make him a better player.

Semis are allready set:
América-Toluca
Santos-León

First round of ligulla (playoffs) finished:
América 3-3 Tirgres (because America finished first, they get the advantage if there's a tie)
Santos 6-3 Querétaro
León 7-3 Morelia
Toluca 4-1 Cruz Azul

America vs Leon final would be fun, but I don't want America winning again.

Ill say Leon - Toluca in the final with Leon beating them!

Also, now seems like a great chance to congratulate the 2013 Apertura Acenso Champions, Los Leones Negros de la Universidad de Guadalajara!

Im excited that this team has found success so soon after coming back into the Mexican soccer scene. With the horrible year Guadalajara clubs have had in the past couple years, its nice to see the city win something. I'm really pulling for these guys to find themselves in Liga MX next year.
