As much as I love to bash Casillas for his play. A lot of goals that real gave up past year was not Casillas fault. The difference before was that Casillas was extraordinary and would stop these automatic goals. Last year he was average. The defense was ****. Even when they scored they still got scored on. It was a big reason why they would get a lot of ties and not wins.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

I cant be for sure what defines the goals that a keeper should've saved vs the other way but I will say there wasn't more than a few outings that he made plays.

You(in general) can count the mishaps, mistakes, errors, wtfs and especially the watching the ball go in as you stand there pretty goals/sequences. His confidence was clearly shot and apparent out there. He was his own instrument of decline and it was foolish not to let Navas play more rather than let Iker exposed like that.

You(in general) can count very little the saves he made that should've been goals or the big stops needed to make a difference...

There was a good reason Lopez stayed in over Iker under Mou....

There was a stretch that Casillas played out of position so much that I was waiting for him to play from the stands than the pitch....

Rafa is a factor, he is terrible manager for league, but good manager for cup tournaments.

Madrid's 3 key players to me are Modric, James and Benzema. These 3 are needed for them to win. looking forward to see if either brazilian gets playing time next season as dm

James Rodriguez really is a stud. The New face of Madrid after cr7 is sold/leaves.

Maybe wishful thinking, but looking forward for the day the team revolves around James, instead of ronaldo.

Not really on the bandwagon but personally over the years there were times I wish someone else took the FKs than Ronaldo... you can tell when he's on or not...

I would've luv to see James take more kicks, he is very good at them, he can't be restricted to a role player anymore, let him free!!!

same with Bale in the FKs, you wouldn't know how sharp he can be with the limited to no opportunities.

Anyone that thinks cr7 is the second best player in the world is blind...

cr7 was never good at freekicks, kind of like david luiz. They can score the brilliant fk once in a bluemoon, but more often than not rarely hit the mark.

Once real madrid move on from the cr7 era, the overall team would improve.

This team talent wise is superior to barca outside of Messi, suarez and neymar. Madrid should be winning la liga easily if their talent match their output, however, since a certain person on the team isn't really a team player, madrid fails quite a bit. Messi, was able to play the team concept and even neymar bought in..... cr7 was always about cr7

OMG. I don't even like Ronaldo as a person, he is arrogant, selfish... I prefer Messi.

But what you say it's unbelievable wrong...

Madrid already have a ton of firepower that is being negated so ronaldo can get his stats.

guys like bale, james, isco and benzema each have high goalscoring ability. There a reason why cr7 sucks ass on portugal and only scored like 3 goals in his world cup history (1 on north korea, pk against iran and the third on a tap in this summer)

Ronaldo needs madrid more than madrid needs ronaldo.

If Ronaldo sucks for Portugal.
Messi is even worse for Argentina. And Messi has better players around him in the national team.

Would be funny to see this Real Madrid without Ronaldo.

I bet +20 points behind Barça.
