This is a Serie A thread bro, go to your BuLi thread.

Is that how you do it Foye lol? ;)

Mourinho played him because he was the only option at that time. Also, in Jose's mentality, you have to have someone physical who can kick, smack and do the all the dirty things in that position but not necessarily good with the ball guy on the pitch. That's why he even used Pepe on the position. I didn't think that you were capable of understanding it anyway though ;)

Here from the UCL thread. Is that how you do it Massimo?

Also I'm trying to discuss things properly. All you do in Bundesliga thread is come in and troll.

They were in Europa league and got destroyed by a **** Greek league relegation zone team lmaoooo

And yeah, you are completely right. Real Madrid had no money available to buy a better player than Khedira. Mourinho was absolutely forced to play this fool for three years.

Note: I put it in green so you notice I'm not serious about this.

cgf wrote:I hope Sami can get healthy and back on form. He's not as dynamic with the ball as Vidal, but he brings a lot of Vidal's other qualities, and is a very smart possession-supporting player; one who recycles the ball well and is great at playing 1-2s in tight spaces. With Marchisio taking over Pirlo's old spot, having Pogba and Khedira running around in front of him could leave you with an even better midfield trio than the one you relied on in the CL last season...if Sami gets back to his best and replaces most of what Vidal brought to the table.

With that forward core in front of them you could be absolutely lethal...as Mandzukic is too easy to cheer for and Dybala is an absolutely awesome talent; plus Morata still hanging around until Real sell Benzema...at least you definitely would've been if you'd pulled off the capture of a #10 like Gotze, Draxler, Firmino, or Pastore.

That 10 spot and your FBs are the only big question marks I see for you this season, and it's not like your FBs are a liability as Lichtensteiner is still very effective...though Evra repeating last season's success seems unlikely to me, would be a very smart move if you guys swooped in for Digne, or maybe even Kurzawa if you were ready to pay that much to secure your LB spot for as long as you can hold onto the young frenchman.

Kurzawa would be great. Evra is only getting older and doesn't provide enough offensively. I wonder if Asamoah will be played at LB at all, but then I'm not sure if he'd be a liability defensively. I'm pissed we haven't gotten a #10 yet after selling Vidal. Although I'm worried Gotze is a bit of a pussy (like matthaus recently said, he's the kind of player who will cry to the coach if he's not being played rather than work harder) I hope we can work out a deal.

Khedira is out for two months and who knows if he'll just get injured after that. He's no Vidal but I agree he'd fit in well. Sturaro will have to contribute big time, and he's proven he can so that's a huge plus.

The rest of the guys need to stay healthy so we can gain some chemistry. Supercoppa in 5 days, can't wait

Didn't watch the game so I'm not sure what caused the rage from Messi.

A Suarez like reaction from Messi in a preseason match. Strange, wonder what got his panties in a bunch

The arrivals of Dzeko and Salah make Roma a better team. With so many injury question marks already for Juve, the league looks wide open.

Inter addressed their defensive woes and Icardi is probably the best striker in the league.

Sarri's Napoli is another question mark, while Milan will still suck

Have a hard time seeing how Icardi is better than Dzeko and Higuain. Hell if Mandzukic can return to form he's top 3 as well.

Well as good as Higuain is, he has proved to be a choke artist big time. and Dzeko is nowhere near as good as Icardi. Mandzukic and Morata deserve to be in the discussion for sure though

You are severely underating dzeko. Last season he was injured but before that he was key to city winning the league and playing with pjanic will be immense for both of them imo.

I'm not really that excited for the salah signing though even if he will be our best winger. I'll be more excited if we sign Gerson since he is supposed to be the best attacking prospect in Brazil right now. I'll also be very happy if we can sign a quality left back, then I will truly believe we can compete for the scudetto

I am very familiar with Dzeko...you'd have an easier time convincing me I'm overrating Icardi than under rating Dzeko.

Gerson seems like quite the prospect, never seen him play but was hoping Juve would get him

I would be willing to be that dzeko scores more goals than Icardi next season barring any major injuries.

Looks like Juve are keeping Tello on the first team. Head scratcher for me

0-0 at halftime of the supercup. pretty bad game...the strong wind and extreme heat is not helping, neither is the crappy field. both teams are clearly not even close to in shape yet

Milan did well to get Romagnoli, but so did Roma to get 25 million euro for him.

Talk in Colombia is that Inter and Juve are both trying to rescue Cuadrado from Chelsea. I'd be happy with either TBH

I know Castan is healthy again but I'm surprised Roma sold Yanga-Mbiwa (and for so little more than what they got him for). Rudi seems to believe they've got 3 signings coming up, I really wonder who they'll get.
Juve better have a plan up their sleeve too. A left back and center attacking mid are still needed

We made a profit on him, it wasn't little. Considering he would never ever be a starter it's a good deal, he's got skills but he's just way too inept tactically and inconsistent. All things considered making any profit on him is a win. There's no way we go into the season with only 2 real CBs, rumour is we are looking at Sakho and rudinger who are both upgrades to Yanga-Mbiwa. We've obviously been linked to digne for what feels like months so that could happen as well.

Also it was just a friendly but Dzeko seems to fit in perfectly. We've always created lots of chances but lacked finishing.
