Get ready for some of the most ridiculous "correct" offside calls. I saw several goals get taken back this Serie A season due to a centimeter of the top of someones shoulder being offside.

Better than having someone draw lines for several minutes, and in some cases making mistakes.

It is until the goal of the tournament is disallowed by one millimeter. If the technology is so exact I wish they could add in that if the offside is only an inch or two, just let it slide unless the body part that played the ball was in fact what was offside. But it’s ok I’ll get over it lol

The wording to the handball rule has been changed so much over the years and it still remains the most difficult to call with consistency. And VAR has made that lack of consistency much worse
