Anyone else hear Filipe could have lost his foot? He was set to be Madrid's and Brazil's LB.
I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.

That's why they had to operate him the same night he injured his leg.
He would look great in R.Madrid right now since LB is their biggest weakness with Marcelo being a very poor defender.

I'm not super mesmerized by Guti's assist may be because I see Ibrahimovic make passes like that every game but i don't think Ibra would pull it back when 1 on 1 with the keeper though.

Ibrahimovic is 10 times better than Guti in every aspect of the game, but Guti is in a class of his own when it comes to this kind of passes.
I don't know if you watched the game live but I tell you, nobody saw it coming, that's why it was great.
I seriously despise Guti for wasting his talent, he could've been one of the best players of his era but just managed to be average with some brilliant performances every now and then.

Madrid beat Xerez 3-0 with a ROnaldo double in the 2nd half. Barca lose out to Atletico 1-2. Gap closes down to 2 pts. Should get interesting from now on.

Great weekend for R.Madrid. Let's see how Barca deals with all the injuries (Xavi, Keita, Alves, etc), but don't expect a big drop off in their game.

Madrid on top after a thoroughly entertaining game against Sevilla. What's gotten into Casillas btw? He's been making mistake after mistake this season. Needs to get rid of that beard.

+1

For being down 0-2, Real is playing pretty lifeless. :-?

Said it then and will say it again now.
Benzema's so overrated and it was an even bigger joke that the team with so many offensive weapons like Real paid that much for him. If they built new back 4, got box-to-box DM and hired a better coach like Mourinho, they would be much much better right now without having spent trillions of euros.

Real defenders lining up and just waiting for Barca lobs/through balls every singe possession was so pathetic.

Huh.. I expected a 4-3 or 3-3 scoreline but Real disappointed. Surely looks like all is not well within the team chemistry wise. Xabi seems to ignore Ronaldo a lot.

and Benzema with the double chin..

said this back in August and most thought their offense would make up for their defensive deficiencies. lesson learned kids, solid d goes a long way when it comes to winning championships.

Any other season and Real would be running away with the trophy but this Barca team is once in a generation talent. Nothing you can do against them.

losing in CL second round or getting your ass kicked by a third division team doesn't have much to do with Barca's greatness. for a team that is worth over half a billion dollars, Real is quite poorly designed.

Benzema is a really good player. The problem is he's still young and he has lost a lot of his confidence due to being in and out of the line-up all season long. It's funny how Real Madrid will win 0 titles this season :D

The problem isn't with Benzema's confidence. The team simply doesn't need him with Higuain playing brilliantly.
