I don't think so. There are enough stars in the PL. I hope he stays in the Bundesliga. Unrealistic hope, though.

But my country needs him to grow, he still is 23 years old and has still a lot more potential to grow you know? So if he went to Manchester United or Chelsea that would be a brilliant move for both.

Other than Panathinaikos all teams still have the chance to reach the next round.

Good results for the German teams :D

I'd like to quote myself:

Sleepy wrote:If you're going to pick one team to follow this season, go for Werder Bremen.

It's unbelievable how crap their defense is and they got two exciting young players in Marin and Özil upfront, which will lead to some highscoring games. They lost 3:2 yesterday to Eintracht Frankfurt, which should set the tone for the upcoming games. You can always expect them to score 2,3 or more goals, but that won't be enough to win most days... fun situation.

Fulham didn't just do what I think they did, did they?

Dempsey's goal was out of the blue.

True. Epic game against Valencia. Unfortunately with a bad ending for Bremen. It's crazy how crappy their defense is. There is no way an away team can or should score 4 goals. Unbelieveable that they managed to come back after 0:2, 1:3 and 3:4., though. They should have won it.

Wolfsburg's game was also very exciting. What a fight from both teams. Gentner with a brilliant goal when it mattered most. They should have made it in regular time though. Regular Dzeko goal in extra time wasn't given. Fortunately, they still won.

Didn't watch the Anderlecht-Hamburg game but that might have been a classy game as well.

Chimenti has sucked whenever he had the chance. The only possible explanation of him being in the squad is that he is blackmailing the management.

Bold prediction: Hamburg - Lüttich will not finish with 22 players on the field.

i don't. but Fulham seems to be setup perfectly for this competition and Liverpool has a chip on their shoulder, so it is quite likely.

Exciting first period of extra time leads to an Atletico victory, so it'll be Fulham and Atletico facing off in Hamburg for the title.
