We haven't been that crappy. Could've been up 3:0 after 30 mins. Denmark is just really, really good. Surprising, but yeah. They defend well and are quick to strike.

i was watching the Portugal game until Holland decided to completely mail it early second half, i just made an assumption from commentaries.

Kinda OT, but the Dutch team is just going to get ROASTED coming home. Van Marwijk is gonna find some good fishing spots if he wants to "work".

And Arjen Robben... should go a nice long vacation in the Arctic tundra. :X

We've made some simple mistakes and missed some good chances, but it wasn't bad overall. Kinda like the tournament has been in general so far. Solid, but not awe aspiring.

Can Maradona comeback as a coach, please? We need dumber opponents... Teams like Portugal and Denmark have learned very well how to stop our offense.

Well done Portugal. The midfield worked their boots off and Nani - Ronaldo counter attacks pretty much settled the game.

They have a good chance against the Czech but Semis would pretty much be the ceiling for this team.

Fact: Prior, NED has NEVER EVER competed in a EC or WC w/o scoring a point. This is their new all time low...

Maradona said something along the lines of playing Dirk Kuyt more often would solve all Dutch problems, with Marwijk out i hope Dutch FA gives him a chance

Portugal can really hurt teams like France and Spain. Their compact defense and quick offense work very well against those teams. Perhaps even better than the more open German game.

Their center forwards are absolutely dire though. Postiga must be the worst striker in the tournament.

If the teams can cut the feed to Ronaldo Portugal are pretty much a fish out of water. Their defense will look compact but they will really struggle to create chances.

They should really start Oliveira from the start.

Hopefully Meireles is okay

Portugal deservedly won. They actually should have scored more goals.

Best player on the Dutch side was Stekelenburg, which is quite sad.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

There strikers suck, but not having a creative midfielder hurts them just as much since it forces all of the creating and goal scoring onus on Ronaldo and Nani. A healthy Danny would make Portugal much more dangerous, even with their **** strikers.

It was possible for about 10-15 minutes until Mr. Hairspray scored the equalizer :(

Damn did we suck.

Gladly, Denmark couldn't capitalize. I have a hard time seeing our team as a favourite to win the tourney.
- Lack of a good preparation is really obvious in the first 3 games, although we won them all
- Schweinsteiger not in top condition
- Löw is sticking to Podolski although Reus, Schürrle and Götze would all be a better option
- Mesut Özil hasn't arrived in the competition so far
- Müller is playing poorly as well
- Defense is always waiting to conceed a goal
- Munich's players don't seem to be in top shape after that long season

We have shown far too many flaws already. Right now, I don't think we have a chance to beat Spain.

Daniel Agger is an amazing cb btw. Best performance by a center back I've seen in a while.

I wouldn't be too worried tbh ..

I think some players weren't as motivated as they would be in a knock-out game. The game vs Holland proved Schweni/Ozil/Gomez are in top condition IMO

Poldi, I'm a little torn on his situation. Low likes him, and he's always played great for the Mannschaft, better than at his club. These 3 games were a little poor, but we all know he's still good enough to decide a game on this level. And he's done it before. I think that's what's keeping him in the team.

What I've been thinking, he's been doing his defensive task perfectly, but sometimes a little too perfect IMO. A lot of times, he & Lahm are in each other's way and have miscommunications on offense. He's not running where he should be. He should play a little deeper, closer to the goal. He's been around midfield way too much.

Greece will be an interesting game. Though I expect Germany to win. Greece is a great team. Lot of fighting spirit, I like that. But Germany will be a little too much for them I think. Sorry Adam :)

About Holland, a lot of Belgians love to see Holland fail just because you know, they're our neigbors and rivals and blabla ..

But I'm happy for another reason. They played a great tournament in 2010, and even deserved to win IMO. But that doesn't mean you should take anything for granted. I just hate the way a lot of "experts" and players got arrogant in thinking they'd win the tournament without even having played a single minute. That's not how it goes.

Having some of the world's best strikers (Van Persie/Huntelaar) doesn't mean you're automatically gonna get results with that team.

And believe me, I know everything about it. We have Kompany/Vermaelen/Fellaini/Witsel/Hazard/Courtois/Lukaku and we didn't qualify, because of the same damn reason. We didn't deserve to qualify, just like Holland didn't deserve to win today.

Sucks Netherlands and Denmark are going home and Greece and Czech are still in it. Denmark especially deserves to move on.

But but but Van Persie is one of the best strikers in the world. :(((

And Holland got 0 point with only 2 goals :)
