Haven't seen the full match, so I can't really state a thing about that, but that first goal should've never counted and I also saw the brilliance of Sven Schipplock, two meters from goal.

Let's see what that extra time will bring but going up against a young 4th division team that isn't even picked to be a real contender to compete for the title against Zwickau, BFC Dynamo and Nordhausen they didn't look good at all in those sequences.

Unterhaching's leading Ingolstadt right now.

Jena did it in extra time, winning 3-2 against HSV.

Bahlingen vs Sandhausen is now going to penalties.

Unterhaching leads Ingolstadt by 2-0. Could be the third Bundesliga team to bite the dust in the first round of the cup.

I'm going to blame my new avatar for this.

I might actually keep it longer than I have to.

LMAO Ulreich is such a terrible keeper.

If Bayern ever have to suit him up in an important game then RIP.

Someone shot at the Hertha team bus in Bielefeld. Wanted to kill the driver. WTF?!

Time to calm down, No_20.

Jairos been very good all preseason long and looks a bit more physical compared to last year. He'll be the next double digit million sale. Smh.

Dortmund fans are calling for other BVB fans to boycott their game at Hoffenheim on September 23rd.
The reasoning behind it is that Hoffenheim's asking for €55 per ticket for away fans and the initiative "Kein Zwanni - Fußball muss bezahlbar bleiben"(translation something like --> less than €20 per ticket in the stands - football needs to stay affordeable") wants to make a statement so that this doesn't become the routine.

Also, Xherdan Shaqiri's joining freakin Stoke City. How the mighty have fallen.
Just about half a year ago he told everyone that he wouldn't join another Bundesliga team(because that would be a step down) and that he'd only go to a CL club(just to join Inter  ) and now he's going to the english country side and is joining the absolute mid table team in England.

Leverkusen's close to signing Charlez Aranguiz for about €12M and their sporting director's currently in Brazil to seal the deal.

BTW: At 8:30 p.m. the "highlight" of the first round of the german cup will take place with FC St. Pauil hosting Borussia Mönchengladbach.
It seems like Favre left Stranzl, Hahn and Hrgota back in Gladbach and I think he'll start Raffael/Stindl at "striker".
Formation could look like this.

------------------------------Raffael---------Stindl--------------------------

-Herrmann---------------------------------------------------------Traoré--

----------------------------Xhaka---------Dahoud----------------------------

-Wendt--------------Christensen----Schulz/Brouwers--------Jantschke-

-------------------------------------Sommer-----------------------------------

St. Pauli AGAIN on TV for a cup game.

Why is this irrelevant left wing club always on TV?

St. Pauli a Traditionsverein. Right. They've never won anything.

They are as irrelevant as Mainz. But you dont have a bunch of left wing extremists in your fanbase, so you arent as "famous".

Should've been Jena vs HSV on tv. A winning club like HSV would never disappoint.

Its unfortunate HSV couldnt pull the upset against Jena. They made it a good fight, though.

Osnabrück's currently leading Leipzig with 20 minutes to go and Bielefeld vs Hertha's still tied at 0-0.

Also, Favre likes that Johnson/Wendt pairing on the left side and some young defenders.
Starting XI vs St. Pauli looks like that.

Hecking slags off ManCity(re De Bruyne)

"Despite all my appreciation for Manchester City, it would be completely different for me if Real Madrid, Bayern or Barcelona were going for him," Hecking, who has just renewed his contract, said. "I'd understand everything then."

LMAO at that Osnabrück fan who threw a lighter at Selke but managed to hit the ref.

That dumb idiot cost his club a lot of money.
I guess Leipzig will surely go through with a 3:0 victory now despite Osnabrück leading 1:0 when that incident happened.

We're playing like pure crap right now and Pauli's lead is deserved.

Will be interesting what Favre does at halftime and if we're able to create anything at all.

Well, it just needed a rant from me at half time and the foals got it going.

Traorè's just unstoppable right now and Stindl with two goals for a 4-1 victory at Millerntor. 8-)
