Yeah, screw Evra for defending himself against racial abuse and then trying to move on.

Exactly. I don't get this animosity towards Evra. If the F.A had decided that Evra had lied about what happened at Anfield, then I would get the hate being directed towards him, but you have to respect the verdict and punishment handed down by the independent commission.

It sends a terrible message that Liverpool have basically disregarded the panel's decision and made Evra out to be the villain for having the audacity to complain.

Like Ferguson said, if Liverpool and Suarez thought he was innocent they had all the chance in the world to appeal the ban but instead they accepted it. If that isn't an admission of guilt, I do not know what is.

but didnt Evra say Suarez is not racist?
and didnt he call him a bad term for south americans?

and why isnt Rio getting criticized? for stooping to a "racists" level?

but before all of this, i do not understand why the FA / or the 2 clubs allowed the hand shake. they should have just did what QPR and Chesea did.

Yeah, good way of avoiding Evra's comments and insults towards Suarez  and even with an appeal the ban wouldnt have dissapeared, just maybe less games.

Dalglish said that Suarez on his part will shake Evra's hand and all United players' so I guess Evra was looking forward to ending it and they arranged a handshake but Suarez decided to be a D-bag and ignored Evra, which is likely why Rio pulled out his hand as well.

I really don't see an angle to be defending what Suarez did but since you are Uruguayan you feel like you need to stand by your guy.

That's fine and its not a big deal if we cannot agree on that.

As far as I am aware, Evra fully admitted to insulting Suarez during their altercation. Blame the F.A for not acting or Liverpool for not filing a formal complaint if Evra wasn't punished for it. At least Evra didn't claim that he was using the term in a friendly manner while the two were clearly having a heated argument.

I understand Evra has been an antagonistic personality in the past, but that doesn't change the fact that Suarez was wrong.

And i really find it amusing that you refuse to talk about Evra's insults like if he was totally innocent.
At least i say both of them were wrong and should have been banned (both or none), but if you see Evra as a saint and that his insults were ok... then yes, we cannot agree on that.

I don't think it was necessary for Evra to go off celebrating like we won the PL, but I sure as hell enjoyed it. Suarez is a scum, all he had to do was shake the man's hand and we could've moved on.

Oh so if Suarez called him a negro and claimed it wasnt friendly he shouldnt have been banned? Suarez also fully admitted on using that word.

Some more gems from TheRealEboue (rofl):

"Luiz suarez contribution on the game so far was not shaking hands.. racist fool.. he can shake my ass next time he sees me.."

"Sir Alex was very correct . Suarez is a disgrace. he needs 50 strokes of the cain. 1 minute handshake turned into disaster. Am ashamed of U"

Have you read the independent report? Evra saying "Don't touch me, South American" is not on the same level as Suarez repeated references to Evra being black, including that he kicked him "because he was black" and "he doesn't talk to blacks". I'm not saying Evra doesn't deserve punishment, I'm not saying he doesn't deserve criticism, I'm saying that he admitted to saying what he said and the F.A failed to act on it.

Had Suarez admitted to using "negro" in an acrimonious way, he should definitely still have been banned, but perhaps not for as long for admitting what he did wrong.

AVB has no one else to blame but himself if gets sacked. Meireles, Bosingwa and Torres shouldn't even be playing and they are always in our startin XI

Just lets agree to disagree, i dont buy one bit of the "doesnt talk to blacks" or anything like that.
If saying "negro" is so offensive its ok for him to be banned and im not against his ban, but Evra saying the south american thing is very xenophobic and im surprised it didnt get more attention.

This will never end, once you start with this accusations they will never go away and whoever thought a handshake was gonna do it... not a chance.
