Krasic said he will only come to Juventus if Dzeko comes to Juventus, you remember how he was about to go to Milan he was ready to sign and everything but then Dzeko isn't going there neither is he. Now Juventus and Man City are having talks with both Dzeko and Krasic so that tells you something these two want to play together. I'm fine with them coming to Juventus because they would rip stuff up in Italia!

This might be the only year I won't buy a jersey.

I don't like any of those jerseys, how lame. I like Everton's blue jerseys way more than their ones from this past season.

Weak. I read Trezeguet and Camoranesi were on their way out, any truth to that?

Keep waiting. :dontknow: No, I agree with you. Juve needs a star signing.
I'm not so familiar with Italian clubs so correct me if I'm wrong but looking at their roster makes me want to cry. Whole lot of average vets without upside to make the team better in the future.

Dunno about Trezeguet and Camoranesi but they should really sell 3-5 players before adding anymore ok players.
If they can sign a star then sign him. Otherwise get rid of the chemistry hurting bench guys first before signing new players. Having too many guys that don't play enough can really hurt your team. :dontknow:
If I was Juve I'd try to get rid of some of the older players and get some younger highly talented guys.
Guys like Zebina, Grosso, Grygera, Legrottaglie, Salihamidzic, Poulsen and Amauri should be on their way out. They are all solid players but there is no upside in keeping them.
Del Piero, Buffon and Trezeguet should stay. Those guys are living legends in Turin.
They need a (young) stud striker signing. Especially, Amauri is a joke IMO (I haven't watched so many Juve games this season (5 or 6) but the stats back me up. 5 goals in 30 matches for a central striker. That's just hilarious) and Del Piero/Trezeguet is not the future. Iaquinta is ok but if you can find a young stud striker I'd sign him without thinking twice.

Foye you are absolutely right. While Camoranesi and Trez are rumored to leave, i'd prefer the bench guys that you have listed be sold first, and replaced with young talent. Amauri had a brilliant first season, but sucked last year. Felipe Melo and Poulsen have no business starting for a team of their calibur.

A Dzeko or some young striker with superstar potential, as you said, is really what I am hoping for. I do believe, also as you mentioned, that they will sell some of those guys before buying anyone truely noteworthy. I will be patiently waiting for the next two months for such signings to arrive. All I know is that what the new management does cannot possibly be worse than what Secco did (brought in players such as: Poulsen, Melo, Tiago, Almiron, Boumsong, Andrade, Amauri... and nearly sold Chiellini.)

I hope the young players this season get a chance to develop. Motta, Lanzafame, Giovinco, and Ekdal, who I believe we will keep this season, all have immense potential. I also hope Diego can fit into the new system...whatever it may be.

Last I heard, City is not paying 50M for Dzeko, and they are out.
I mean who would?

Yeah I have been reading that rumor for a while now and would gladly welcome him. They seem to have their two center backs set, but they wouldn't lose much if Chiellini or Bonucci were to go down with injury if they had him.

Italy knows how to take care of older players. You can still be productive in your early to mid 30s.

Someone told me that there is a rumor that Forlán is going to Juventus. That would be great! Not a bad "shake up" for this team.

yeah the rumor is 10 million plus Iaquinta. pre-injury last year Iaquinta was always amazing for us, and he is a fan favorite, but that would be quite a deal now

edit: that rumor is just a rumor, but the interest is in fact there and Juve need to act quick before the likes of Liverpool and everyone else tries to get it on getting Forlan

Me neither lol but i am entertaining the idea as long as it remains a possibility. Supposedly Juve's management has a good rapport with Atletico's
