So the passive play (particularly in the first 45mins of matches) of LCFC during the last few matches is getting me down a little but after a poor night's sleep I don't feel so bad about the loss to Liverpool last night.

They haven't lost at home for 3 years in which time they've won 5 out of every 6 games. If the "big" clubs can't beat them then not sure why we should. We've got a weakened team and even when we have full complement are we really more than a fight for 6th to 10th prem team?

As a fan I'm still hoping to challenge for a CL spot but realistically I'll be happy with another Europa league spot at the end of the season. We have great potential but we don't have the depth that is needed to be good enough every week throughout the year.

Braga 3 Leicester 3

We've qualified for the next round with 2 games still to play.

First half wasn't very good, defence not working but second half we were easily the better team and really should have won.

Kasper 5.5

Thomas 6
Fuchs 4
Evans 5.5
Justin 6
Albrighton 5.5

Choudhury 6
Praet 5.5

Under 5
Barnes 5.5
Iheanacho 6

Tielemans 7.5
Fofana 7
Maddison 8

A poor poor performance against a team who are likely to be relegated this season.

Rodgers needs to look at his tactics and selection.

Kasper 3

Thomas 3
Fuchs 1
Evans 3.5
Fofana 3
Justin 6

Mendy 3.5
Tielemans 3
Maddison 2
Praet 2.5

Vardy 1.5

Barnes 4.5
Under 6.5
Iheanacho 3

The five at the back hasn''t worked for a while. Rodgers has been playing passive negative football for 60 minutes or until we're well behind in games. Our best defenders are out injured - Ricardo, Castagne, Cags, Ndidi - so we should be playing to our strengths and not our weknesses.

Very disappointed.

How are we within 3 points of the top in 4th when we've been playing so poor this season?

was not impressed with their penetrative passing last night. Praet was not involved at all but Maddison could have got going earlyier. worrying he doesnt know how to pick simple locks like that.

1 good pass from Evans to Vardy who laid it off to 3rd man. only bit of dynamic football.

Zorya 1 Leicester 0

A loss but not as disappointing as our recent games. Brendan must have viewed this as a free hit - we needed to win 1 of the last 2 games to ensure top spot. considering this is the first of 9 games in 29 days and following on from our 2 a weekers Brendan decided to leave the spine of the team in England to avoid the 4,000 mile round trip. Kasper, Jonny Evans, Tielemans and Vardy didn't even travel, he also decided to use the game to re-introduce 3 of our injured players - so he knew that he'd be replacing them during the game. Unfortunately Soyuncu broke down early in the game and with the other CB being a rarely used 36 year old he needed replacing too. Our defensive line, thankfully back to a Back 4, ended up being a 19yo CB and 3 left backs (19,22 & 35) which held up fairly well.

Zorya are a decent team which our first choice would have handled easily enough but which with our frontline not firing well and our midfield of a defensive mindset, this team didn't beat. We let in a late goal whereas we probably deserved a draw but that's football. I've no complaints and I'm not unhappy as I was after the terrible Fulham performance.

Sheffield Utd 1 Leicester 2

Well we outplayed them but we really made it difficult. Not at all sure about Brendan's 5 at the back again but when we look back in a couple of weeks a win is a win.

What do you guys think of Thielemans?
In the Belgian squad, he really made the step from being Debruyne's back-up to a regular starter who gives the team an extra with his passing and scoring abilities.

Is he making the same progress in the PL?

He was fantastic when we got him on loan, then last season he didn't do so well. He looked out of shape and tired. This year he's stepped up another level and is an integral part of our team and a major reason we're sitting in the top 4. Another Belgian who set the league on fire in his first few games is Castagne but he got injured and hasn't been able to shake off the injury. If he comes back as good as he was we'll have 2 almighty WBs to terrorize the prem.

Leicester 3 Brighton 0

A victory that was pleasing on the eye. A flowing game of football thanks to a Brighton side who also wanted to play.

Wrapped up before halftime.

Ricardo, Soyuncu and Castagne still missing from the defence. Again we started with a stupid back 5 but this week Brendan quickly changed it on the fly and we dominated.

Kasper 7.5

Justin 8
Fofana 6.5
Evans 7.5
Fuchs 7
Albrighton 7.5

N'Didi 7.5
Tielemans 7
Maddison 7.5

Perez 6.5
Vardy 7.5

Mendy 6
Praet 6
Barnes 6

3rd place , 1 pt behind Spurs and pool.

Leicester 0 Everton 2

If anyone says that home fans don't make a difference!

Leicester at their most annoying

Again a makeshift back 4 with a midfielder as CB but an attacking looking frontline that we didn't use!

Kasper 1

Justin 5
Fofana7.5
N'Didi 7
Fuchs 4.5

Tielemans 4.5
Mendy 5
Maddison 5

Under 6.5
Barnes 7.5
Vardy 4

Kasper howler to let in the first, Vardy missed a sitter to equalise. Just flat and disappointing.

Spurs and Manu up next.

I guess we see if we're a champion's league contender or just a top half team now.

Spurs 0 Leicester 2

We were good. Excellent defence, control in midfield, goals in attack. How can a Leicester supporter not love that?

Great to see Castagne and Amartey coming back. Castagne is a class player. Now we just need Ricardo and Cags back

Leicester 2 Manchester U 2

A good game to watch. We'll think we should have won it they'll think they should have won it.

I'm vary happy with how we controlled the game but too many poor passes gave Manchester chances and they took them well. Cavani is such a great player, so clever.

Harvey Barnes was clearly man of the match, tormented the Manchester defence and needed two markers throughout the match.

Kasper 6.5

Justin 6
Fofana 7

Castagne 7

Albrighton 4

Palace 1 Leicester 1

Who are we?

Actually it wasn't that bad we made 7 changes to the starting line-up and totally outplayed Palace in the first half with some lovely play and pressing, it was only Iheanacho who stopped us being well ahead. If Vardy had been on the field in his place we'd have been out of sight. Palace responded great in the second half and we were poor, we got hit with a break away goal and then played out the match with some good football but only got a draw. 2 points from the last 2 games is unbelievable, it'd be more justifiable to have all six than just two - but that's football and us.

Kasper 6

Justin 7.5

Amartey 7

Choudhury 5
Mendy 8
Praet 5.5

Newcastle 1 Leicester 2

A deserved but workmanlike victory. Too slow to progress the ball in the first half. Faster and cleaner in the second for a 2 goal lead before letting in a late one and having to work out the time.

Stoke 0 Leicester 4

Leicester rested Vardy and Maddison but otherwise put out a strong lineup against the team sitting 8th in the Championship. Stoke worked hard but were clearly not of the same level as city. Justin scored a stunner in the first half, Albrighton placed the ball away cooly to tie up the game and then Perez and Barnes added to the score. Only bad news was a late injury to Praet.

Leicester 2 Southampton 0

Leicester win the battle of the best of the "small teams". Entertaining game with some lovely football from both sides. Saints pushed hard in the first half but eventually the Foxes stamina shone through.

Probably an easier win than against Southampton to put us top of the league.

First half we ran the game and second half we defended the lead.
