Tbf, the Luiz red card is laughable.
That's never an intentional foul. The striker weapons his shot and then the 'contact' happens.

Ref and var see it as an intentional foul, without trying to play the ball to prevent a clear goalscoring opportunity.
That's just insane.

Also, the second red card for Southampton was a blatant dive. What is up with the officiating these days?

I think the referees in the prem need a massive overhaul and they have for a long time. I hoped that VAR would correct their mistakes but sadly they are VAR too.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

From what I have seen they are still better than the refs in the Bundesliga.

Still think City is going to run away with things, but I'll take the bump in goals for when it comes to CL places.

Yeah

As far as first teams go I don't think you are better than us but with your depth I can't see you finishing outside the top 3. Man City must be favourites with Pool and yourselves 2 & 3. I'd love to get 4th but will be happy with whatever the lowest position that gets Europa league is. We're picking up injuries again with 6 players out tonight. Including Vardy and N'Didi (who are probably the two most influential players we have) as well as Fofana and Castagne who have both been incredible since joining us this season.

City 2 up at halftime with slick finishing. And I'm talking about the true City. LCFC.

I dunno, I'm trying not to be one-eyed cuz he did run right through Martial's knee. Seemed like a pretty cut and dry penalty to me. Red card is super harsh, cuz it's tough to say it was deliberate, but there was no attempt to play the ball. Super clumsy by the defender... don't think that equals deliberate though...

Wow!

I guess the other clubs have figured out Liverpool.

Or at least not get blitzed by them like they used to the past two years.

Martial was already on the way down. If there was contact, Martial initiated it.

Yeah, I don't know about that but considering it was for like the seventh or eighth goal nbd to me. It is for the dude who I imagine is gonna lose some dough for being suspended though.

Another contender for the worst game this season. Pathetic showing. Not as bad a performance as you guys had against Brighton - but a loss is a loss.

Well, that's the thing for me.
You're up 5 or 6 goals and then you decide to dive.
That's just pathetic in my book and I really rate Martial as a player.

We've lost to Fulham ... It's a crazy season which has made it all the more interesting. Really hope Man City haven't got it together because this season was becoming one of the best in history (apart from2016 of course  )
