The red card for Bednarek has been canceled, so the FA admits it was a dive by Martial and Dean got it very wrong.
The Luiz red card actually stands, which is just (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

It's just pathetic.

Does cancelling the red card for Bednarek mean it wasn't a foul or that it wasn't a foul worthy of a red card?

Only in the 31st minute but it seems like continuation of the same trend for Spurs.

Really struggling to score and it looks like they didn't make any moves in the transfer window.

Dier as a centre back is just insane.

Chelsea with the next W, they're starting a streak.
But Werner and Havertz are still atrocious.

This is something I've always said but he started to look decent for José for a while. As an opponent I loved to see his name on the teamsheet.

Maybe he wasn't selected because he's atrocious. :D

Good win for Chelsea only 4pts off a CL spot.

Will Tuchel really get the sack if they don't make it this season?

I read somewhere that the base salary for a premier league ref is £200,000 (less than la liga). Compared to the footballers this is peanuts but come on, £200K basic for the **** they do? A teacher in France needs to work 10 years for that.

He was injured man

Chelsea's issue is we have no one that can deliver that final ball through the middle. Kai's runs get ignored 95% for sideways passing and it's painful.

Tuchel got an 18 month contract with there being CL clauses I think. Roman needs that champions league funding so he can go splurge on more wünderkids that get called overrated on internet forums :P

I am by no means a fan of Timo Werner but it makes literally no sense criticizing him after a tight game where he made the game deciding play.

He started the season in decent form. His finishing though has been shocking since like November. Especially for someone who doesn't really give you anything else when he isn't scoring goals. Hopefully it's just a confidence thing. He was like a top 3 scorer in the world last year behind Lewa and Immobile. We really need him to start bagging if we want to seriously have a chance at getting top 4.

It's not really all that surprising that a striker loses his finishing touch when he is played at left winger half of the season, though, isn't it?

I never had the impression that Werner is mentally strong enough to be world class, though.
He is not someone that you can throw in middle of the night and know he will perform. He is good, just not absolute world class.
One of the guys that will always be in the mix but never actually make it, IMHO.

The LW thing was so maddening. I almost don't even blame Frank though for not knowing how to use him, because he never intended to purchase him to begin with. When he was sacked it was revealed he pushed hard for Sancho, Tarkowski, Rice and others, while Roman and the board pounced on the opportunity to get a talent like Havertz and some other dynamic attackers Ziyech and Werner.

About his perseverance, when I was researching Timo more last summer to learn about the player I discovered the Schalke incident. I think going through that and being treated like a war criminal in Germany definitely made him more mentally callous. I think he'll be okay, but he's someone who your attack has to be centralized around for him to succeed. Thrived in Leipzig as the focal point / struggled with the national team & Chelsea with a more diverse attacking profile.

Could've played another 4 hours, we wouldn't ever score a goal today.
No hunger in the final third.

I thought you had a good second half and Odegaard looks a gem. What has happened to Aubameyang though? Watkins had a really good game.

What about Barkley, he had a great 15 minutes at the beginning of the second half but then he became a passenger without the stamina or effort, taken off about 10 mins late and acted like a baby. I guess that's his problem, great talent but not enough work to be able to play a full game.
