To be honest both of these jerseys are awful.

If you'd have me take a blind guess at what participant is using those US jerseys, I would've guessed Russia, France or Costa Rica, they seem very un-american-y to me.

Why should you reward the defense for allowing a wide open player behind them? The defense should run their asses back and guard that person. Makes no sense to punish players cutting to the net.
