Well, he is not wrong there. Kruse is a limited player, too. But a better one than Dost. He is better technically and playmaking-wise than Dost but his tendency to spend half the game on the left side of the pitch can sometimes be a negative since there'll be no striker in the box at all.

So his versatility makes him limited? He's not an archaic stationary 9 who you lump crosses into, he's a wide-forward who can play the false-9 very effectively and should be doing so for our NT.

If Kruse wasnt German, you wouldnt even rate him, cgf.

He is a good player, but not as good as some of the players Wolfsburg were interested in last summer(Lukaku, Dzeko, Morata).
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

In a way, yes.

Add in the fact that his right foot is rather weak and he is neither an aerial threat nor a physical threat in the box and you have a limited CF. A good limited player, though.

I'm not really in love with Kruse tbh. If I was Wolfsburg I would move heaven and earth to get Mandzukic back in town.

Not sure what you mean by physical threat that isn't incapsulated by him not being a monster in the air. He's a quality finisher who can shoot from range or slide them in in the box. He moves beautifully off of the ball or can receive the ball with his back to goal. He has a very nice eye for passes and crosses when he drifts out wide. You need other attackers who charge into the box from the wings or deeper to take advantage of the space he creates; but that's why Schurrle-Kruse should compliment each other beautifully as their LW-ST partnership that KdB feeds.

Agreed on Mandzo, even with Kruse adding another striker is a need; and with Kruse's versatility he can start on the wing, where he'd be a better option than Schurrle/Caliguiri/Perisic, when they're all fit. Plus Mario would also be a great fit because of how much he does outside of winning headers and standing around in the box.

True. That's why I rate Raffael and Hazard over Hermann; and Traore over Hahn...

That said Morata is the only one of that trio I think is better than him at this point. Dzeko's form is shot and he's far too stationary. While Lukaku's too archaic to flourish with a top side, nor does he have the ambition to become as great a player as someone with his size, strength, speed and shot should be. Morata's really proven himself to be a well rounded forward, which I doubted he would a year ago, so he'd be a great get as well. But Kruse's clearly better than the other two.

According to Sky Sport News, Draxler could be moving to an English club. I'm surprised though, after this season I was pretty sure that he would need to play one more season for Schalke and finally make the huge step forward everyone has been expecting for the last two years now.

F*cking Söldner. Such a stupid move when you're 26.

It's good news for Bayern opponents, though. Whenever Neuer is injured they'll now have a tree trunk between the sticks who takes 5 minutes to reach the ground.

Stuttgart did well to get rid of him.

Even the Stuttgart fans dont care he is gone.

They normally hate Bayern with a passion.

They wanted Ulreich gone for a long time and finally get their wish.
The replacement for Ulreich seems to be polish international Przemylaw Tyton, while Roman Weidenfeller is also linked to them.

- Eintracht Frankfurt seems to buy austrian goalkeeper Heinz Lindner, while Kevin Trapp is linked with a move to PSG
- Antonio Rüdiger wants to join Wolfsburg
- Gladbach is said to have reached an agreement with Matthias Ginter and is offering €8 - €10 M for him

Arsenal bidding for Draxler. If true, he might be the most overrated German player going to Arsenal ever...even with them signing Özil a couple years back.

Draxler: Arsenal favorites, but ManCity also interested.

"Nach Informationen von Sky Sport News HD wird ein Wechsel in Richtung England immer wahrscheinlicher. Der FC Arsenal und Manchester City sollen aktuell Interesse bekunden, wobei die Gunners leicht im Vorteil sind, da sie bereits im Januar ein entsprechendes Angebot abgegeben haben sollen."

What? "Söldner"?
It's actually a smart move. He wasn't the clear-cut no. 1 in Stuttgart anymore and I don't think it's safe to say that another solid Bundesliga club would have guaranteed him the no. 1 spot. Eventually sitting on Stuttgart's bench is clearly worse.

He will definitely earn more money now, make some new experiences and could easily move if a better opportunity presents itself (just like Reina after only one year).

As a Bayern fan, I'm fine with that move although I think around 3 M is way too much for a backup goalkeeper. Pepe Reina is clearly better than Ulreich though, especially as a sweeper.

I'm happy that Effzeh is smart enough to not take him back. Simply too much distraction.

Draxler hasn't taken that step yet, but he's still very young and has battled a lot injuries already. So I actually see him pulling a Van Persie for Arsenal if they activate his clause. He'll need a year to adapt and for Wenger to turn him into a forward. But I can absolutely see him thriving in this shape if he puts his injuries behind him:

Draxler ------- Sanchez
------Mesut/Santi-------
Wilshere/Ox - Ramsay
Actual 6

Especially if those rumors of Arsenal signing Kondogbia or Carvahlo to play the 6 and Vidal to push Ramsay to the bench finally came true. The back 4 would still need work and they'd need a goalie, but that could be a truly devastating midfield and forward set up.

Poldi's peaked as a teenager, but Gala fans will love him off of the pitch and he'll love them. That seems like a really good fit if he's just part of your attacking rotation, not expected to do any heavy lifting.

Neuer will play every game, even the cup games.

The only reason he moves is the ££££. He values money over playing. Could easily be a starter for a lower team in BL or a top team in Zweite.

Sorry, but I rather sit on Bayern's bench, earn a bunch of money, live in one of the most beautiful cities in Germany, travel around the world and so and so on than playing for Ingolstadt, Darmstadt or even a second division team. Just my personal opinion. Incredible Work-Life-Balance.

That graphic must be wrong. Dortmund should be up there with the Götze transfer alone.
