Anyone else caught that packing thing on German tv right now? Det? No? Nathan?

Oh the irony of former side pass king Stefan Reinartz developing this approach of analyzing the game.

How highly do you guys rank Herr Kroos in all time list of German players if he wins the Euros this year?

2 CL(with 2 different teams), WC, Euros.

You have the big five: Beckenbauer, G. Müller, Matthäus, Maier, Walter. I think if he wins the Euros he is in that 2nd tier with Seeler, Rummenigge, Lahm, Breitner, Kahn, Sammer. I would put Neuer and Schweinsteiger in that group as well if they win.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

I don't see how bringing Durm or Schmelzer would've increased the quality of the team tbh.

Yes, and Durm didn't have a good season at all.

But I'd actually take Schmelzer over Hector.

Tough game for Germany against Poland.

Germany traditionally always struggles in the second game of a major tournament.

98' = 1-1 vs Yugoslavia
00' = 0-1 loss to England
02' = 1-1 vs Ireland
04' = 0-0 vs Latvia
06' = 1-0 last minute win vs Poland
08' = 1-2 loss to Croatia
10' = 0-1 loss to Serbia
12' = 2-1 vs Netherlands
14' = 2-2 vs Ghana

So only won 2 out of the last 9 games.

I think Gomez should be starting if he's fit, goetze is not a threat at all upfront and his talents are going to waste. I hate how low started to copy everything pep did at Bayern. Even put lahm at CM in the WC, only put him back to his natural position because if injury.

At least this should be a test of how good the German team is this year.

On paper this should be the best game of the tournament so far. I can't wait.
