We look dreadful.

Need a new quality player for every part of the team.

Hack, Öztunali, Bell, Brosinski should be replaced...

You guys might need another striker given the knee injury of Mateta.

BTW: We also looked quite dreadful today even though we beat Angers 2-1 in the end.
We had a nice start but after about fifteen minutes they totally took over, Kanga(possible replacement for Mateta?) scored and former Arsenal youth player Reine-Adelaide(who won't play for more than another season at Angers) controlled midfield on his own.

Though, 17 year old Faman Quizeira(sigend from Benfica under 17 last summer) got a chance to play the game and looked really promising.

Not only a striker but also a winger and a CB.

The day Hack is not part of the team anymore I will celebrate...

each and every game he is passimg the ball directly to the opponent and we conceed because of that.

Not to mention he aint particularly good at his core competence defending either.

The first round of the cup started yesterday with three games and three away teams winning.
Nuremburg won 1-0 at Ingolstadt, Dortmund won 2-0 at Uerdingen and Gladbach won 1-0 at Sandhausen.

For us it was quite a crappy performance and showed that we've got miles to go in that new system.
We hardly ever had control of the game, didn't create much and looked quite out of sorts defensively.

Positves were Thuram scoring a nice header on his debut and the team not backing down from the physical play of Sandhausen, who love to kick you around.

BTW: I hope that Hofmann won't be out for too long, while the knocks Ginter and Thuram received won't hold them out next week against Schalke.

I wonder what the persons in charge of our club will realize we need to buy at least a single competent winger...

There were literally 11 opponents in the middle of the pitch and we still try to play through the middle instead of utilizing the wings. Dumbest tactical approach whatsover.

At least Bell injured himself today so the new guy St. Juste will be starter directly. The negative: we are another CB injury away from having to see Hack again...

We've just signed Ramy Bensebaini from Rennes.
The transfer fee's believed to be about seven to eight millione euros with a possibility of some add ons.

Michael Cuisance(and his agent) seems to be going a bit crazy basically demanding a starting spot or forcing a move out of the club.

Also, Hofmann suffered a torn ligament in his knee against Sandhausen and will be out for some time.

If my name was Eberl I would tell the agent to not let the door hit him on the way out of my office and to bring a club who pays 30 mil...then he can leave.

Start of the season has Bayern and Hertha finish the game with a 2-2 draw.
Good result for Berlin, while Bayern needs quite some more signings.

And they seem to have started and should sign Michael Cuisance of Gladbach for about 10 mil euros with add ons while Coutinho might be on his way as well.

Salihamidzic has confirmed the loan of Coutinho and the signing of Cuisance.

There's an article out now saying that Cuisance(who wanted a loan move in January) had been talking crap to anyone in the club and asked for that guaranteed starting spot(together with his agents) to get on the nerves of Gladbach and force his move.
The article even states that Bayern wasn't too sad about his behavior.

The transfer fee's said to be about 10 mil euros with some add ons.

Took Hack only 5 minutes after being subbed in to secure Freiburg the win.

Getting nutmegged for the 1:0 and then assisting Freiburg on the 2:0.

I will never understand how this guy has a job in professional football.

Covic might actually make me watch more games this season. Not a bad start at all.

As long as he doesn't start Esswein I'm good. With Dardai coaching, the game vs Bayern is 100% over after Lewa's first goal. From that point on, the plan would've been to park the bus so it doesn't get worse. The team doesn't even have to be much better for me, I just want to have fun watching them again.

I know what you mean. After years of watching Klopp and Tuchel teams having to endure the likes of Martin Schmidt and Sandro Schwarz is really dreadful.

No offensive game plan at all other than passing, passing, passing in areas where no danger is created at all and then losing to ball or making a cross that will go into the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, the results he got always made it hard to argue against Dardai because it felt like the team always performed as they were expected to. Not better, not worse. But the way the team got there was always ugly and killed any interest l had in watching Hertha games. I wish Pal nothing but the best, he's a great guy, but the change needed to be made. Let's hope Covic was the right choice.

I don't care.
He did a lot to get out of Gladbach and Eberl + Rose have stated their thoughts about it while the team supposedly was happy it's over.

Though, the funny thing was actually Brazzo again.
First complementing Cuisance on his "mentality"(afte he just consistantly asked for a guaranteed starting spot at Gladbach just to leave for Bayern) and then going nuts during the official press conference. A guy asked Cuisance how he would fare in Munich and why he went there after not being happy about his playing time at Gladbach.
Brazzo just went crazy and told him, "you've seen his first season there? He was player of the season for them".

The funny thing about that is that this is just some online vote by some fans and that Cuisance got all those minutes because we were consistantly without 7 - 12 rotational/starting players and had no one else to play at that position...

Brazzo also said that they got "signals" from Gladbach he might be available. I'm pretty sure those "signals" were Cuisance camp and Bayern telling him to get on our nerves to force a move.

Also, that's what Uli thought about the move....
