If Conte wants the job, get Arteta out asap.

Knowing Arsenal it'd be Thierry Henry
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

This is Arteta's first time as manager of any club isn't it?

Could only watch the first half which was good and Newcastle deserved their lead. Did West Ham improve or Newcastle get worse in the second half? We've got West Ham next week

West Ham improved, but the game was really open in the 2nd half which was likely more indicative of it being the first game of the season than anything.

Everyone worked their socks off today. Lucas and Tanganga were especially great.

City started off well and really should have scored early on, but Spurs grew into the game and eventually played the better football. Bergwijn should have netted in the second half to make it 2-0 but I can't gripe with anyone's performance.

Big 3 points for Nuno. Buzzing.

Liverpool 1-0 Burnley at HT.

Burnley the better team so far. McNeil killing TAA.

That was no penalty. Alli just put his leg into the keeper. Seems that the prem has thrown VAR out of the window.

What Adama is doing to Tanganga shouldn't be legal. Looking like Brazilian Ronaldo out there.

And what Tanganga just did to Marcal shouldn't be legal either. Clearly frustrated and just went flying in.

Total domination by Wolves for 37 minutes. Traore is killing Spurs. Ref has given spurs the goal and then not allowed a slightly better call for a peno for wolves straight afterwards. Seems that the refs are back on the big6 bandwagon and VAR is going to be ignored.

Arsenal getting ripped apart. So much space for Chelsea front 3 and wingbacks.
