Not a soul would have called for a second yellow if he just walked away. I'd get it if Rice blasted the ball away but Veltman kicks it at him and the ball is still rolling lmao

Those should have been cards. Maybe I was thinking of another play.

The Abu Dhabi Premier League would never let that happen to City, Hinshelwood and Minteh would be sent off first half.

Just watched Cucurella foul a Palace player deep in the offensive half way out of position. Kicks the ball away to buy himself time to go back to left back... no card. New day .. new rule in the Abu Dhabi Premier League

City and Liverpool just have way more decisive players than we do in attack man. Their players are given more freedom by the manager too. I feel Arteta has become toooo rigid

Stress free win at Old Trafford.

Both Diaz and Gravenberch look like different players under Slot.

This weekend alone, I've seen at least 20 similar situations like the Rice second yellow, but none of them was sanctioned with a yellow.

Surprise surprise.

3 games in and the refs have already cheated Arsenal out of the title.
It's time for 5 refs.

I seen like 8 alone today ahaha like 3 guys already on yellows. Chris Kavanaugh is a criminal.

Tough part is that it not only did it cost us a game with a ridiculous sending off , it compromises our next game too. What a seriously dumb decision. Next game is Spurs away...

With Leicester City finding a loophole out of its predicament for a PSR breach, I have lost faith in the Premier League's ability to make the 115 charges against Manchester City stick...

Also...what's the point if it's something like 8 years later? Prob what their hoping for.....they'll come out with some statement in 2029 saying "Oh yeah...by the way, that was totally not ok", but everyone will have moved on. There will be no discipline. No stripping of titles...none of that.

Everton sure got investigated and disciplined fast......wonder what the hold up is for City? What a joke

Rice suspended (lol) , Merino breaks his shoulder on day 1 , and now Odegaard ankle melted in a useless nations league game. Idk who starts at spurs this weekend , then we have Atalanta away and then the Etihad.

Nobody watching?

Pool loses to NF at home and currently AVL losing to Everton at hoe.

Everton should have gone up 3-1 but now Villa equalizes.

Today's Liverpool loss was a reality check -- indication of where the club is after an easy first 3 games.

Getting a result at Spuds today would be a miracle.
No Rice, Odegaard, Calafiori, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu, Merino.

It seemed like Spurs dominated possession and most of the game was played on Arsenal's half.

Arsenal did enough to generate chances though, mostly on counters it seems.

So without Odegaard, they will play back more or just at the Spurs they were trying to pick their spots?

Such a frustrating start to the season. Don't feel like we've played badly at all in any of the games but only have 4 points to show for it. At some point they're going to need to be more incisive in front of goal. Werner and Johnson aren't prolific players, and goal scoring wingers should have been addressed in the transfer window, and sadly Son is declining. On the coaching side, we simply need to get better at defending set pieces and managing games. It's a work in progress, but a slow start.

It's just how the game pans out sometimes. Spurs are a team that likes to play with the ball, and Arsenal are good both with and without it. My guess is Arteta will have instructed his players to be patient and wait for their chances, because Spurs concede very predictable goals from set pieces and counters.
