Beating Frankfurt will be tough for the Spurs. There's something special about that team and Europa League. Some nice matchups in the quarters.

What the hell was Ajax coach thinking playing with the backups in a European knockout stage game?
Honestly, they should be eliminated from next years competition for disrespecting their own fans.

No idea what he was thinking. 1-2 at home is tough, but not a score where you quit trying. Johan Cruyff probably turning over in his grave.

I don't mind Frankfurt advancing since they are one of our main competitors for the CL spot and have struggled in the Bundesliga recently during English weeks.
But not to play with the best XI was absolutely disgraceful from the Ajax coach.

Rough day at the office for Onana.
It's time for 5 refs.

I do usually describe United as a place where players go to die, but Onana's form since joining them has been extra comical. He was so good during his one season at Inter too.

Bodo/Glimt beat another Roman club  with a 2-0 win over Lazio. Every other Europa match was a draw.

Conference League shaping up for Fiorentina to lose in the final once again [to Chelsea if the draw allows it]. Real Betis may be the only other club left that is good enough to win this very prestigious trophy.

Bodo/Glimt should have scored 2 or 3 more, too.

Jens Petter Hauge was looking like he'd be a star when he played for Milan. He was cooking yesterday

Spurs through to the semis after beating Frankfurt.

Meanwhile, United bottle a 2 goal lead against 10 men of Lyon.

In terms of entertainment for sure. Onana is still shite pylon, absolutely atrocious positioning on the second Lyon goal.

Yes, certainly not in terms of quality, but it was amazing entertainment. I threw it on after Spurs finished and did not regret it.
