Re: Juventus FC
knezevic helps for the team's depth, no more, no less.
but aquilani would be a great signing. i like how juve is looking for next season.

Re: Juventus FC
Poor transfers so far . One Giovinco is not enough. I wonder who will Juve sign in the end - Aquilani or Xabi , just hope it's soon , cause training camp begins on a couple of days .

Re: Juventus FC
i don't think they have been poor transfers.
they have signed players that will strengthen the actual roster that is a pretty solid team.
juve is still taking off the effects of serie b, so i don't think they are ready to make a big transfer. plus, there is still time for juve to make some more transfers.
i'm still waiting for them to sign a CB. after watching the euro kolodin from russia, or servet or gokhan zan from turkey would be nice.

Well , Knezevic is a Cb .
And Juve payed for Amauri about 23 mln Euro that's a lot of money ... they could've signed Huntelaar ...

Re: Juventus FC
Ajax was asking 30 mil for him i believe, but I think Amauri is better, but older.
Speaking of youth...They sold 21 year old Lanzafame permanantly to Palermo. This kid has star qualities and originally it was thought that they would co-own him. I don't like how they are selling all these young players.

Re: Juventus FC
The gold jerseys aren't that great but might grow on me, they won't wear em much anyway. I really liked Buffon's old light blue jersey...these ones not so much.
and im off to italy today
i'll hopefully be checking the boards as often as i can.

Re: Juventus FC
i like the new uniforms, but it seems that it's either a marketing thing or they haven't found their 2nd uniform because for the last 8 years or so they have changed the 2nd jersey almost every year!

Yea off the top of my head they recently had pink, yellow, red, black, blue now gold. Must be marketing.

Re: Juventus FC
he's not the greatest player but i think that he can be a valuable player to play along sissoko or in his place. when sevilla won the 2 uefa cups he was an important piece.

Re: Juventus FC
Pretty solid player, so could be worse. Obviously I'd rather have Diego, but Poulsen is a good player.

Re: Juventus FC
Poulsen is a solid player and a hardworker but also a bit of a nutcase. I don't think he's good enough that we need to get him. ill take Zanetti and Sissoko over him.

Re: Juventus FC
Zanetti is overrated to me, and I'd rather play Poulsen to be honest.

But what Juve needs wright now is creativity in the midfield . Plus Capello's era is over , Juve shouldn't play with 2 DM's .

Re: Juventus FC
yeah, i agree, but i don't think ranieri wants to play to DM and definitely juve needs a creative player in midfield.

Re: Juventus FC
Yea I think the only way we could play with two defensive cms is if we play a 4-3-1-2 or something with del piero or giovinco as the 1. I aslo don't think we have good enough outside backs to pull that off, because they will need to be a lot more involved in the attack.
10million € for Poulsen is way too much, and I forgot the exact number but i heard his salary on the radio and of course that is wayyyy too much.
The fans hung a sign out where Juve is training saying "you've signed another rubbish player: Poulsen" so it will again be pretty bad for management if he sucks(like Tiago/Almiron)
At least they have the best outside mids in Nedved/Giovinco and Camoranesi. If Marchionni can stay healthy for once we will finally get to see how good he can be too.
Andrade is out for the season, re-injuring his knee. He may also be forced to retire.
They may still want to get another CM, possibly Sulley Muntari, but whatever...
