Serie A & Ligue 1 experience the same problem currently.

It just happens when one club is vastly superior money-wise.

Or in Juve's case it happens when they are brilliant at getting players for bargain prices :) :)

It is completely irrelevant to compare to buli to serie a. Ac milan and inter milan are having great players now. Roma is doing fine. The race will be tight.

On the other hand, Psg and Bayern will probably win it at least 7-8 more times until someone else wins it. Complete monopoly in both leagues.

Lets look at the facts:
Juventus - 4 championships in a row.
Paris - 3 championships in a row.
Bayern - 3 championships in a row.

Juve ran through Serie A in last four years. One time even undefeated. So lets get over that non-credible argumentation that Bundesliga or Ligue 1 have been boring while Serie A have been hella exciting.
Whether Serie A will really be more competitive this year remains to be seen. And if it is it will mostly be because Juve has gotten weaker in midifeld after losing Pirlo and Vidal.

LB Nico Schulz signed for four years with Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Hertha will receive about €3M from Borussia.

Antonio Rüdiger to Roma seems like a done deal. First year seesm to be a loan for €4M with a €9M obligation to buy him next summer.

Stuttgart seems to be interested in Matthias Ginter as his replacement and might have a chance to get him, unlike Gladbach, who Dortmund didn't want to strengthen.

I like the Schulz addition. Good to get some cover for Wendt other than Alvaro, and I can see Schulz being an effective defensive winger like Fabian Johnson that lets Hahn and Hazard play more through the middle. Seems like a very "Favre" move. Still wish you could've snapped up Embolo or Youssef Poulsen this window, but Schulz is a move I like for BMG.

Wonder if VFL gets off their asses and does something now that they've pissed away Rudiger. As is those CBs desperately need at least 1, if not 2, additions.

Do you guys support other German clubs when they play in Europe?

Can't get myself to support Vizekusen, even though it's important for the coefficient.

Yes, I usually support German clubs in Europe. And for some reason I always liked Leverkusen. So it's easy for me today.

I'll support some teams like BVB and Schalke. But Bayer can go **** themselves. Gladbach would have Lacazzette and Kramer, after having played in the CL last season if it weren't for those ****.

It's more complicated with Bayern; I cheer for them to get out of the group and then lose in the first knockout round. And I suspect I'll have similar feelings towards Wolfsburg this season now that they have Kruse and Arnold. I dunno if I'll be able to bring myself to give RB the same pseudo-support; but I have always had a soft spot for TSG just because I get Hoppe's impulse to turn his childhood team into a first league staple, and how shameless they've been about doing it despite the lack of support actually somehow endears them to me. I guess because he's honest about it and not trying to pretend like it isn't what he's doing, the way Kind and Kuhne do.

Hard to choose who to support today. Facist mfers or less facist pharmaceutical mfers.

Go Bayer. **** Lazio.

Can't we just eliminate both of them? It's not like Leverkusen has any fans who'd care, and it's not like anyone would care what those Roman fascists are upset about.

Miro <3 Getting to watch him play almost makes one want to forgive Lazio for their fascist fanbase.

I'm alright with them internationally given that my uncle played for Leverkusen II about 30 years ago, after leaving the GDR.

Though, them not making it to the CL would mean more money(from the tv pot) for Gladbach, while Leverkusen could certainly do more damage in the EL. :P

Some more news:
- Aston Villa seems to be interested in Alvaro Dominguez(cb/Gladbach) but I doubt that will happen given his injury and with Gladbach having hardly any experience at cb left
- Mainz striker Maximilian Beister will be out for some time thanks to a knee injury
- HSV midfielder Petr Jiracek could soon join Sparta Praha
- Leverkusens's supposed to offer €10M for Liverpools cb Mamadou Sakho

€20 million in the pocket but no single above average Bundesliga player on the team at all. Heidel has done a terrible job this offseason.

Edit: Maybe Karius and Park...that's it, though. Mainz are on downward spiral ever since Tuchel left. :banghead:

Terrible signing he was. Hasn't played even half a game in nearly two years. It will take another 6 weeks now until he is ready. And I'd be willing to take a bet that he reinjures himself again before he ever plays a full regular match for Mainz 05.

What is your take on Yunus Malli? I have him on my kicker team hoping he has a breakout season.

Karius is a very very good GK in my opinion. I was surprised when he signed a contract extension despite all the rumours about a move to Benfica.

But all in all, I agree. Mainz could face a tough season and needs some upgrades by the end of the transfer window.
