It is a great day.

We have finally gotten rid of Jajalo!

Munich will have a sick team next season...

--------------------Gomez--------------
Ribery------Müller---------Robben
----Gustavo(Vidal?)--Schweinsteiger
Lahm---Badstuber?---Boateng?--Rafinha
-------------------Neuer------------------

And a bench off: Tymo, Kroos, Klose?, Petersen, Pranjic, van Buyten, Alaba?, Breno?
I'm not sure whether Badstuber, Boateng, van Buyten and Gustavo could really form a solid center back position but it would definitely be a bit improved with Boateng.
A world class center back would be huge for them.

He had one good moment in his career so far, though.

My problem with him is that he would constantly break up counter attacking opportunities where we had had a 2 man advantage by shooting from 35m out and putting it in the stands. He'd have guys unmarked down the middle or the wings and still **** shoot it. I've never screamed at someone so much in my life.

I was kinda impressed by David Alaba in our lucky win in Vienna.

He's going to be a hell of a player one day.

My Mainzer keep selling quality and targeting quantity.

This is going to be a hard next season. Schürrle, Holtby, Fuchs and Fathi already left the club.

Zoltan Stieber should be a great addition. Pospech from Kopenhagen could be good as well. Not really excited about the other players, though.

On a similar note: I have no idea what my Freiburger are up to. Just spent ~2 mio € on Garra Dembele. That either means Cisse is gone or we are playing two pure strikers upfront next year... which would blow my mind. Perhaps they'll play him on the right wing...

----------Baumann----------
Mujdza-Ferati-Butscher-Bastians
----Schuster--Makiadi----
Dembele--Putsila--Jendrisek
----------Cisse-----------

That'd be a hell of a lineup offensively, but total suicide on defense. Well, as long as it's fun to watch, I don't complain.

Oh, and the German ladies have just won 3:0 against Norway. We rule!

That Ballack vs. Jogi Löw/DFB feud is just getting better everyday. I wonder which party is the one lying. I actually happen to think that Löw offered Ballack to reach his 100th game for the NT as it was reported today. While it's still a huge slap into Ballack's face, at least they tried.

I wonder how often Jogi tried to call Ballack before releasing that press release.

Ever since he dumped my Kaiserslautern team, I hate Ballack with a passion, but he does not deserve this. Kahn and him carried us through the 2002 WC, got us far in 2006 and 2008, and he was our undisputed leader until that Boateng foul. There are only losers in this farce. :(

Still, I actually think Ballack is and always has been a tad overrated. With a few exceptions (South Korea game in 2002, beating Ukraine 4:0 in that clincher some years ago) he never really stepped up in important games. Far too often I saw important games realizing how shallow he was playing.

Well, he's no Dirk :D

I wonder when we'll see Bundesliga teams picking up their transfer activities again. It's been really a quite transfer window in the Bundesliga so far (other than Manuel Neuer to Munich/Sahin to Real).

Forget the effing Bundesliga for a sec, the real match of the year is in the DFB Pokal :D

TENINGEN VS SCHALKE

Can't wait to see the powerful 4th of the Landesliga Südbaden II take on the weaklings from Gelsenkirchen

City offers 22. Mil. € for Marko Marin.

If I was Werder Bremen I'd take that offer and buy Marco Reus for half that amount who is about to become a better player than Marin.

22m for Marin is insane. :o If Bremen pulls the trigger, they could buy Reus and e.g. Cisse and still have cash to spare. But then, why would MARIN do this?! He surely does not want to be a second Dzeko...
