Oh and let’s not forget that France hasn’t been exactly defensive stalwarts this tournament and yes they have a lot of ppl injured but they are still stuck in 2nd gear it seems

Argentina playing way better is NOT a reason to fix them a penalty, come on

I seen much worse penalty kicks given.

Di Maria beat his man and when that happens you get the benefit of the doubt more often than not

Two wrongs doesn't make a right.

"Benefit of the doubt" shouldn't exist in futebol when now you've got VAR.

You are still crying ok… cool.

I know how you feel… I know the whole no era penal.

France certainly looks like they are missing Pogba-Kante midfield.

Argentina needs to keep this momentum in the 2nd half. France needs the half to be over.

I think the French coach is rattled. There’s still a lot of time to play and Argentina has shown they can let teams back in the game.

France doesn't have a single shot, on target or otherwise.

These forward passes through the center have been very effective. France midfield getting bossed

You have 5 subs, 3 windows… team looks horrible, I like it. You change the status quo.

Counterpoint: His team has played like complete sht, they're down 2-0 and every minute counts.

there's probably going to be 5 mins of stoppage time so the coach didn't want to risk another 10 mins hence the subs.
