Götze scored Bayern's 7th goal.

Funny thing is that BM is missing several key players and they still manage to dominate. Their depth is amazing.

Other games: Hoffenheim gets a huge win in Frankfurt, and Gladbach wins 2:1 on a very dubious penalty-plus-red-card vs Schalke. Augsburg pushes HSV closer to the brink, and Stuttgart proves that Hannover sucks on the road.

There was nothing dubious about that penalty.
Kruse shot and Höwedes jumped in while extending his arm and "saving" a chance on goal.

The only thing that could be talked about is Julian Korb being sent off instead of just receiving a yellow card for that foul on Boateng which lead to Schalke's penalty.

Anyways, Gladbach now won their first eight home games of the season and sixth in a row.

Bayer could go 6 points ahead of Dortmund today if the result stands.

Leverkusen look more dangerous when they attack. Dortmund look sloppy so far

Not a fan of that red card call, but w.e. the game should be better now

edit: Bender and Sahin off injured, Sokratis got himself sent off. Do they have enough players to field a team anymore?

Its a shame. Their whole season is about to be destroyed by injuries.

Robin Dutt's gotta ask himself whether he spends too much time im front of Elias 35.000 € tv.
I'll never understand how you can move Gebre Selassie (who at least has the speed to defend Ribery) into the midfield.

Fritz is slower than a turtle. This was bound to become a big failure.

I watched some of basel's game yesterday and I really hope someone brings Fabian Schär to the BuLi cause he's the only young CB other than Ginter who reminds me of Hummels.

DFB Pokal matches:

HSV - Bayern
Eintracht - BVB
Hoffenheim - Wolfsburg
Leverkusen - Lautern

As a Lautern fan, that sucks bigtime. On the road vs a near unbeatable team, we won't get televised on TV b/c the Bayern and Dortmund matches will get priority (much less TV cash for us), and Bayer has such a small stadium that maybe 30k ppl will come (instead of e.g. 70k at a BVB match), so the gate entry cash for us will also be little. But well, at least we got Bayern last year...

I am pretty sure that Bayern, BVB and Leverkusen will make it, but the Hoffenheim - Wolfsburg match looks interesting. Either team would be the huge underdog if the "Big 3" indeed make it.

I bet Wolfsburg goes through. They have assembled a really solid team. Could use a class striker, though.

I hate Leverkusen so much. Against Dortmund they showed once again what they can do, why can't they just play like this against Manchester? And yes, the bare bones of Dortmunds squad is better than anything United has to offer.

Not enough experience and the injury bug. Schalke vs. Chelsea was the same story. :dontknow:

Ah well, you could give them the experience excuse if they lose a tightly contested game, but they could have send their second team and it couldn't have been worse.
Schalke just needs a new coach, Keller might be a great youth coach, but I don't think he has got everything to deal with pros.

Gladbach have been very good this year, despite having to play Jantschke as a CB for weeks due to injuries. If they buy Schär in the winter they'll hold onto their CL spot. The front four have been awesome, Xhaka's been spectacular as the pendulum of possession and MAtS has had some Herculean performances.

Keller's not a terrible coach, he's just not good enough for a club like Schalke. Their injuries and poor DMs just exacerbate his problems.

I disagree. He IS a terrible coach.

Look at the Chelsea games. You can lose the first game 3-0. No problem. But you gotta learn from that.
Keller send his team with the same approach in the 2nd game. And the result was obviously the same. Keller completely failed to adapt his match plan to Chelsea's strengths twice in a row. That's inexcusable if you ask me.
