At least the race to drop out of the CL spots is going to get even tighter if this score holds :-/
E:
How did Malli not score the equalizer there?
E2:
Excellent ball from Bell to lead Jairo in. That lil spaniard is so damn nifty every time I watch him.

If he can't beat him even once today, Younes Malli is going to have nightmares of Casteels.

Good game. Bit disappointing we couldnt pull out the winner since we were the better team but a point seems a solid outcome.
Gotta take advantage of our schedule the next few weeks.

Since Nagelsmann took over:

Watch out next year. Could be a CL team.

I'm very impressed with the kid, but with Sule looking like he's gone and both Volland/Amiri having suitors; we'll see what's left at TSG for him to work with before we start calling for the CL.

Dardai on Sportstudio: "The only reason we're 3rd is because the other teams have f*cked up. With our points total we should be around 6th."

We should be, but we have the third most points in the league. Does anything else matter?

I like our schedule for remaining games. Win against Cologne next week and everything including third spot is possible, although, unlikely.

No disrespect, but you are the worst German team ever in the CL. I dont remember a team as bad as this Hertha team representing the Bundesrepublik in the CL. Not something I would be proud of.

I don't think they could do much worse than Bremen team against Lyon a decade back.

The same Bremen team that advanced from a group that had Spanish champions Valencia and Inter in it?

I still don't think we'll make it to the CL, but even if we do, how does it matter how good we really are? If we have enough points to qualify for it we deserve it, it's really that simple.
We aren't as good as Gladbach, Wolfsburg or Leverkusen, sure. But people should finally give this team the credit it deserves and not just blame others for our success.

Who says Hertha wouldn't have a chance to reach the knockout rounds? Current team is solid and they would get 20+ mil. to reinvest.
You are probably just jealous that Berlin is actually taking advantage of other teams struggles unlike your HSV.

No, I just want German teams to do well in Europe.

I get that, and that's fine, but you could give Hertha some credit. Did you expect them to be at 49 points right now? Even at the end of the season?

Incredible strike by Kagawa. Unfortunately Schalke equalized almost immediately.

Schalke just effectively ended our title hopes, however slim they may have been. Time to turn our undivided attention toward the Europa League.

Leverkusen seem to be hitting form just in time to secure third place
