Does Dortmund only have 11 players on the pitch? It seems that they have fielded 14 guys AT LEAST.

Note to self: when was the last time you saw EIGHT players of the attacking team in the enemy penalty box during a regular (!!) attack?

Götze nutmegs his opponent with a backheel. Sometimes life is just unfair.

Dortmund looks like GER vs ARG on total speed.

Hamburg probably won't be in the upper halve of the table this season, but still... they're getting slaughtered and most teams would looks just as bad.

HSV scores the 3-1, and almost gets the 3-2. Respect for HSV, they at least hustle.

BVB wins 3-1 after a superb game. Sahin was hardly missed, hope Dortmund continues like this in the Champions League!

I could only watch the 1st half of the game before I had to leave for work but, damn, Dortmund looks to be in a great shape. They didn't seem to miss Sahin and Barrios at all. As Sleepy mentioned, it'll be really interesting to see how they'll match up with Bayern.

He's nominated for the game against Brazil. Gotta hurry if you want him.

Brilliant game from Dortmund yesterday. I really look forward to watch them in the Champions League this season. They'll probably have to deal with a damn hard group, though.
I really hope they'll be able to keep their core together.
Subotic is as good as gone next season, though, IMO. He already states openly he wants to play in the EPL one day.

Gündogan, Kroos, Schweinsteiger and Khedira will fight for two spots and Götze, Özil, Müller, Schürle and Podolski for three. That's rough...

And Koln still suck.

Inexcusable defense, total void in the midfield.

And of course the officials are terrible. How man times does Wolfsburg have to grab players and hold them in the box?

Man of the Match for Koln? Novakovic for getting Red carded for not putting up with that ****, or Lanig for balling all game, fouling people over and over again.

Also, Jajalo still sucks dick. WHY CAN'T WE BE RID OF YOU?!?! How many more counter attacks must you ruin because you're ****?

Uh... how can you not mention Pezzoni. You guys should probably play for Novakovic next match... nobody else created so many chances and goals today as he did :eyebrows:

Oh, and tone it down a bit. Nobody wants to know which Geissbock likes to suckle on male genitalia or anything like that...

Bayern loses at home

Eerily similar to most of last season: about 70% ball possession, but no real pressure, and the opponent scores after an individual error. Ironic: the MOTM (Mistake of the Match) is jointly won by the guys supposed to STABILISE the defense, Neuer and Boateng :banghead: :D

Quick review of the 1st gameday:

BVB, Wolfsburg and Gladbach are the first big winners. Very impressed by the BVB machine, and also HM to Augsburg, who won their first Bundesliga point in club history.

Bayern, Cologne and Leverkusen are the first losers. Bayern should rebound soon though, Leverkusen will suck as long as they play w/o GK (which is mind boggling tbh), and Cologne, well, they could win anything between 0 and 10 matches in the next 10 matches :D

He was pretty good last season for Nürnberg.

He's got big footsteps to fill in Dortmund with Sahin's departure. We'll see if he's capable of doing that but he played very well in his 1st game.

Gündogan is 20 years old, was the key player for an average/above average team (at least till he got injured) last year and is now a solid starter for the best team of the league. I guess you can say that he's really good.

Nice, "modern" midfielder; very quick, solid passing game, really smart.

Tore looks good, but Bruma-Macienne will make tonnes of mistakes
