Yea, he's made some top class saves so far.
I don't really think De Gea's problem is his shot stopping though, it's more of his command of his area/aerial ability.
He'll be good though, he's still so young. Just typical over-reactionary people jumping on him early.

Re: 2011
Half of Stoke's lineup is straight goons, they battled tonight but I'm honestly really disappointed with the performance. Owen/Berbatov were awful, Anderson kept going for the homerun ball and we barely used Ashley Young.

Re: 2011
I wouldn't say much about Stoke but they do foul a lot, which is incredibly frustrating because the ref turned out to be a pansy today. A couple of yellows early on and they would either fall in line or someone picks up a red and we run riot.
We did miss Rooney today and Berbatov and Owen didn't make it any easier for us. Owen's first touch was terrible and Berba's link up play was non existent.
Got to commend Stoke's defense though, Shawcross (United academy graduate) and Woodgate were solid and we could barely squeak balls through that back line.
Ando will be fine and other than Nani he was our only player who was intent on pushing the ball forward in the attacking half. He did lose possession at crucial times though and I'm a little worried about Fletcher not providing adequate shield to the back 4 with some shots flying at De Gea which should have been blocked by the holding midfielder.
