Brighton is a darling of football tactics Twitter. Lot of chatter about how Liverpool was pressing without the personnel to do so, and Brighton thrives on baiting the press.

What are some good accounts to follow? I have excellent superficial knowledge of the game but the deeper intricacies usually escape me.

Hey! I'm still learning too. I just started getting into it a bit more in the last year, in large part due to wanting to be a better coach for my son's team. Here are some that I follow:

Here's a video I watched that does a great breakdown of what Brighton is doing:

Bentancur is legit my favourite Spurs player, though, good to see him back.

I love tenacious midfielders and he's the epitome.

Totally get that. Even when we had Thierry and Bergkamp, Vieira was always my boy. But god damn, Kane is sooooo good. He's such a complete player.

Now imagine having to support this clown team every week.

And some fans think it's Daniel Levy's fault we're so bad.

lol, probably similar to being an Arsenal fan for the past 20-ish years. FA Cups are always nice but it's not nearly the same as a league championship. Been a long, frustrating dry spell. All due respect for probably the single most impressive feat I can think of in professional team sports history, NFL/NBA/MLB included, but freaking Leicester has bragging rights. That's just wrong.

At any rate, this has been disconcertingly savage from City. It's going to take everything Arsenal has to hold them off.

Kane needs to go to a proper football club so he can win something. Bayern and United are interested.

Son looks finished, can barely even control the ball anymore. Lloris, also finished. The less said about the defence the better.

Complete rebuild is required, this team is doing nothing in the short or long term as currently constructed. If Levy goes as well, that's fine too.

I feel like Harry Kane has taken a step backwards.
Two years ago he used to not only scoring goals but also setting his teammates up.
This year barely any assists. Workrate seems to be reduced.

But I don't watch really many Tottenham games. This is just based on the 3 or 4 Tottenham games I have seen this season.

He is going to end up as a better version of Alan Shearer.

I think Kane' exit ship to a foreign title bearing club sailed in 2018. He's a smart footballer but he's now slow and a bit old for it. Also non-EPL clubs are relatively poor now so his best bet at moving abroad without a wage cut is PSG and they have a better forward rotation already. But if Messi leaves, why not?
