Well, that's another way to describe it. For more info, read viewtopic.php?f=69&t=1253798 or ask anything you want.

We could have an endless argument whether the cup final was fixed or not but in the end they gave the punishment because of an attempt to match fixing so it would be moot. It comes down to believing the tapes that were released, and I'm not a tin foil guy.

Serdal Adali and Tayfur have to be banned for life and be sued for what they've done to the club. I despise them and hope they'll suffer. Unfortunately, most Fenerbahçe fans don't share my thoughts on their fellow president.

aziz yildirim is the biggest scum in turkey, i want fenerbahce to be at least competitive for the sake of the league but not until they get rid of him. good thing there is some movement within the club to replace him, i think he is suspended or something.

Fenerbahce beat Galatasaray 2-0 and are now 9 points ahead of 6th placed Gala after 11 games. Fenerbahce are of course banned from next year's CL, so we might see 1 or maybe even 2 new Turkish teams in CL. Are the second placed Kasimpasa any good? First time I've ever heard of them.

they are bankrolled by the president of turkey(another scumbag), while they are not good enough to compete in europe right now, they are investing more money every year and could make a minor noise in the transfer market if they end up going to the champions league.

i am sure gala and/or besiktas will make a run though.

The guys in charge of Kasimpasa could have bought Bale if they wanted so badly. Whether he would come to Turkey is another question.

They are well funded and nicely put together for the Turkish league.

Sivasspor is the real surprise team of this season IMO.

Don't be so sure... As we all know politicians manipulate the league in Turkey. And they are fed-up with Aziz Yıldırım's(a.k.a match fixer, money launderer, mafia...) Fenerbahçe, snobbish Galatasaray & Unal Aysal, and aggressive Trabzonspor... Besiktas are not looking like contenders because of financial issues and that will hardly change until their new stadium is built...

Kasimpasa is not a simple project. Politicians think that Turkish Super League need a new champion. A new champion that is not aggressive, not snobbish and easy to control... That is why Turgay Ciner(a businessman who is very close to Erdogan) bought Kasimpasa and has been spending lots of money.

I won't be surprised if they qualify for CL next season.

And please some Italian team... Rescue us... Get Mancini....

We can send you Unal Aysal too, as a promotion, if you need a wealthy and ego-maniac president....

Safe to say that Mancini is a terrible coach.

Not his fault. He didn't build this team, Gala have unbalanced squad and no depth. Foreign rule doesn't help either.

Last time I checked the forrign rule is for all teams, not Gala alone.

He does have a lot of quality players to work with which should be enough to beat Kopenhagen and manage to be at least 2nd in the league.

Its not like this happens the first time under Mancini either. He had all the money in the world at City and failed to get out of the cl group stages twice in a row .

Of course it's for every team but like I said, Gala has no depth, especially in Turkish players as you need them on bench. Every player on the bench bar Bulut is bad. This is on ex manager.

We have good players but most of them are out of form like Yilmaz, Inan, Kaya or even Drogba. Mancini (2W, 1D, 2L in TSL, 1W, 1D, 1L in CL) is not doing a lot worse than Terim (2W, 3D in TSL, 1L in CL)

I'm not his fan and I agree with you about City but he hasn't spent a penny as a Galatasaray manager. Still worth to wait.

Of course its not his fault alone but he still sucks as a coach.

Yılmaz was never worth 30 million. He's the Turkish example of a flop Eredivisie top goalscorer. His goal/game tally was incredible the last 2 seasons, but if you watch him play you never understand how he was able to score this much. He has good off the ball skills but poor awareness(Gets caught offside multiple tiimes every game) is only decent if he's not using his right foot(even with his right he's far from a clinical finisher), a bad dribbler and surely not the target man type. He never gives up on getting into goalscoring opportunities and as you know he did score many goals in the past.

Also, for some reason he's been playing on the left wing now. This will only make matters worse.

My friend Massimo disagrees with you. :wavefinger: :wavefinger: :wavefinger:
He would score 40+ in both Eredevise and Bundesliga.
