Unnaturally seeking and falling into contact is no different than diving. You and i had the same discussion over Hazard during the season. Oscar was falling well before he met Dutch skin.

Oscar diving to a torn ACL.

Definitely not a penalty.

Yeah and it was a penalty, but we'll again have to agree to disagree

It's not, because Blind did not foul him. He walked into Blind.

It is because Blind completely missed his tackle and tripped him. Even an attempt to trip is a foul.

He wouldn't have "tripped" him if Oscar had made a football move. He attempted to win the ball and missed without impacting Oscar. This isn't like Robben exaggerating someone stepping on his foot. If Oscar had kept playing football, he would gone right past Blind. He literally started falling before there was any contact between the two of them. That's the definition of a dive, and it should not be rewarded.

Two missed penalties in one game.

Jordan never fully understood basketball. He had the lowest basketball IQ of any NBA "superstar" in history.

Tell me how Oscar was supposed to go right past Blind when his left leg's got nowhere to go. He would have had to jump sideways to avoid contact.

I hope you're kidding. He could have gone right past him. Why did he bother adjusting his movement and even his angle with a fall then? If a trip was unavoidable, why did he dive? Why didn't he just get fouled?
