You should watch Spurs more now that Davinson Sanchez plays for us :P

So I've been traveling South America (and still am until November) and went to a few games. Atmosphere for the local teams are amazing.

Hard to see Peru hanging on given the difficulty of their remaining fixtures but it'll be exciting to watch.

To me, what's crazier is the possibility of a USA v Australia play-off. That match-up may well do more for the popularity of football in those countries than potentially unremarkable participation in the World Cup by both of them.

Standings as of 9/26:

1. Brazil 37 pts - @ Bolivia / Chile
2. Uruguay 27 pts - @ Venezuela / Bolivia
3. Colombia 26 pts - Paraguay / @ Peru
4. Peru 24 pts - @ Argentina / Colombia
5. Argentina 24 pts - Peru / @ Ecuador
6. Chile 23 pts - Ecuador / @ Brazil
7. Paraguay 21 pts - @ Colombia / Venezuela
8. Ecuador 20 pts - @ Chile / Argentina
9 & 10. Bolivia and Venezuela

Well here we go.

Peru and Argentina are going to duke it out!

*Surprises*
- Ecuador falling so much after a strong start to the WCQ. Not really but still surprised, they gave me worries for Uruguay and Colombia's standings.
- Argentina, being not Argentina.
- Chile, losing two games didnt destroy their chances but better results would've given them hope. Vs Ecuador who still in it, and then Brazil... oy.

wow these spots are still up for grabs... If Colombia can PLEASE win vs Paraguay, i can sleep easy lol...

Argentina should win against Ecuador. Does Ecuador even have any top elites other than A.Valencia?

My goodness what a match tonight should be - Argentina vs. Ecuador, at an elevation of 3km or over 9,000 feet in Quito, Ecuador.

Cannot wait.

That’s nothing compared to the elevation in La Paz Bolivia, I arrived there for their games against Chile and Brazil and was out of air the second I left the airplane.

I'd say Peru has a 95% chance of winning.

took Pekerman a long time to figure out giving Falcao help at top! made a load of difference.

Still worried about our midfield, the play, the flow isn't there yet. But we have 9 months to fix it.

Peru had everything to lose if Colombia scored on a counter....
