Juve sold their 50% of Gabbiadini, coz they don't think he'll improve much. Also, they just loaned Llorente to Sevilla (0$ fee, 100% wage contribution), so they definitely don't need another striker. There are strong rumors that Vasquez from Palermo is coming to Juve.

Now that Inter has sold Kova, I don't see them making Top4 at all. Gonna be Juve, Roma, Fiorentina, Lazio, in this order.

Since Dybala made a huge impact in his first real game, I am not surprised that Juve is going for another Palermo player.

He's cheaper than Draxler, doesn't have a horrible injury in his book and more proven than scrubs like Mkhitaryan or Texeira.

oh cmon. How can you call Texeira a scrub? Dude is a wonderful player as well.

Draxler is good too but his problem is the injuries. He gets injured very quickly and it seems all his injuries are long term.

I know Juve sold their part of Gabbia's contract but I still think he's better than Zaza. Wish we stayed interested in him. I feel like coaches don't know what to do with him, he is in between a striker and a trequartista, but can even play as a winger. As a starter on any team he will finish top 10 in goals easily.

Even though the Germans hyped up Draxler as going to be better than Pogba a year or two ago, now no one seems high on him, I guess because of constant injuries. I never really wanted him. I wish it wouldn't take Pogba to land Oscar...he would be perfect on Juve

The injuries are a big part of it, but he also had some stretches on inconsistency creep into his game...even at the 10 position where previously he had always played his best. Personally I've long hoped he'd go to Arsenal because the kid has soooooo much RvP in him; and Wenger did a good job converting RvP from a winger to a striker, which is the transition I believe Draxler needs to undergo at some point. But if you made the move for him I could certainly see him having similar success with the position change...provided he stayed fit.

Strong opener for Roma ))
Padoin is gonna start tomorrow at CDM instead of Marchisio, I think it's gonna be 4-3-3

Licht - Bonucci - Chiel - Sandro
Sturaro - Padoin - Pogba
Marota - Zukic - Dybala

Morata is still injured for this one

I think they go 3-5-2:
-----------------Buffon
----Barzagli--Bonucci--Chiellini----
-Licht---------Padoin---------Sandro/Evra
----------Sturaro---Pogba------------
-------Dybala-----Manduzkic

Also hope we buy some **** fullbacks since Florenzi is obviously not a right back, he should be our starting winger tho.

People discarding Milan are in for a surprise, they are still pursuing another midfielder and/or Ibra.

Add in that Milan finally has a strict coach with a plan and from pre-season games you can already tell, that Milan plays a lot more systematically than under Seedwarf and Inzaghi, who were both complete jokes. Miha already has the right mentality and I believe Milan will be playing CL football next season.

I don't think Fiorentina or Milan did enough this summer to finish top 3. I doubt Milan get Ibrah but another CM would be useful.
Bertolacci and Romagnoli really have to have good seasons.
Unless Sarri totally fails or Higuain finds another way to blow it, I expect Napoli to take 2nd. Roma/Inter/Lazio for the final spot

I think there's still a chance Ibra leaves PSG, and when he does, then it's pretty much an undisputed fact that it'll be to Milan.

/e - Ibra alone with a competent coach is enough for a top 3 finish in Serie A, only problem is that PSG don't have many other options....

Sandro will start on the bench and it's likely to be 3-5-2 (god i hate this formation) with Bon, Chiel and Barz as our 3 CDs.

Also, wtf is going on with Llorente and his loan? I thought Sevilla agreed to take him. We really don't need him and he was horrible last season.

#Juventus starting XI (3-5-2): Buffon, Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini, Lichtsteiner, Pereyra, Padoin, Pogba, Evra, Mandzukic, Coman.

#Juventus substitutes: Neto, Rubinho, Isla, Caceres, Rugani, Alex Sandro, Sturaro, Vitale, Dybala, Zaza, Llorente.

Udinese (3-5-2): Karnezis, Heurtaux, Danilo, Piris, Edenilson, Badu, Iturra, Bruno Fernandes, Ali Adnan, Thereau, Di Natale

Good lord, why Coman starting? I'd rather start Zaza.

I have no problem with the 3-5-2....we've literally done very well with it for years now. Idk why Coman is starting but he started first game last season--maybe it's tradition

I know 3-5-2 works, but it's just so boring to watch. In the mean time, Sky Italia said that Marotta confirmed that Cuadrado is coming on loan.

He isn't the number 10 type player I wanted but I'm happy to take him. Llorente will probably be gone in a day or two.

I'm so excited for this game, finally Juve is back
