I think you have to do it. Who else are you gonna get? For the next 2-3 years, he can be (is) the centerpiece of our attack. He's obviously got the goods, so if we wanna challenge for another title here....you gotta keep him.

If nothing else....I'd sign him, and ship him off to Madrid, or PSG, or whatever for a transfer fee. You certainly can't have that caliber of player just walk.

Somehow we managed to dodge a bullet with Salah and Mane off in Africa.

I don't know how...but we've only played 1 EPL game in a month. Did Klopp make use of the covid protocols?? Either way, it will be nice to see the team actually play again. Should be well rested!

Of course he did. Remember all those fake test results tests that were negative and they all re-done to get a positive!

I bet you lot are looking forward to the match tonight. Must be a good possibility of a 6 or 7 goal win. When Forest can annihilate us with 4 goals you must be able to score 7 or 8.

Liverpool followed protocol. But again, what benefit came from postponing the Arsenal match? It's not like Mane and Salah became available (both remained at AFCON). In fact, the second leg, which was scheduled to be played at Anfield, was switched. It's why Arsenal fans were thinking their club would advance after the first leg ended 0-0.

Jota has proven to be a good signing. I don't know what it is about good strikers...they are always "just there". Jota seems to be one of those guys.

The title race is officially back on! If we take care of Leeds, it’s hunting season! #YNWA

He is probably my favorite player on the team. Crazy how good his headers are, considering he is like 5"8

I'm hopeful, but man is it a tall order. If you look at the schedule, we play every top 10 team still, except Chel$ea. Luckily most of the "harder" games are at home...but of course the hardest challenge of all will be on the road. And remember that about 4-5 of these teams are in a heated race for top-4. I just don't know.....

This would be truly epic, if we clawed our way back, and won this thing. But my experience with Liverpool over the years says watch for 1 or 2 lame draws before the season is done. A draw with Aston Villa, or something. So besides needing to beat some great teams coming up, we're gonna need Man-$ity to drop the ball a couple more times as well. THAT I'm not so confident of.

But hey....the Tots just kicked the door open. Now it's up to our boys to show their mettle. If they're gonna do this, it's gonna have to be near perfect.

Liverpool brought the 'beating stick' today. Good work from the boys....we're firing on all cylinders.

3 points behind. I still think it's a tall order, as MC are as legit as it gets....but we're right there. We just gotta take care of our business, and see what happens.

Some nice passes by Salah today.

We picked up some hardware today! Not something I put too much stock in, but it is a trophy. Good work from the squad. And we took it from Chel$ea, which makes it a little sweeter. We've won some good trophies under Klopp, but I'd like to see us get a handful more.

A lot of momentum on Liverpool's side. The trophy today just gives them a little edge to push on.

The other competitions will come down to the draws.

That was nervy. Very fortunate to come away with points.

I was annoyed with that 6-minute stoppage time. What was that about, ref?? He musta thought we were playing ManUre.

We didn't look too good today, but we grinded out a win. I suppose it's fair to say we had bad luck offensively, like they did. Some great saves due to defense hustling back. If we do end up winning the Prem, I think it's fair to look back at that hustle play by TAA as a key moment. I mean, there's 1000's of moments...but it def saved our butts. Alisson prob wants to forget this day. Not dreadful, but he certainly had a 'derp' moment or two...or four.

But we came away with the win. I guess that's all that matters at the end. Grats to VVD for his record. Pretty impressive.

Or not....

I suppose I knew better than to think manure would help us out.

If you're going to win, you need to do it for yourself.

I think we will slip up here against Arsenal. Call it a hunch...I dunno.

Besides needing to beat MC at their place (huge ask) we're gonna need them to slip up a time or two as well.
