JUVENTUS-MEZZOCORONA 7-1 (5-0)
GOALS: Amauri 15, 18, 32, 36, 41 mins, Pasquato 52 mins, Esposito 58 mins, D’Acampo (M) 90 mins.

5 goals in 41 minutes. Not the worst start he could've had. LOL

good result.

and too bad for andrade. that means they should search for another defensive player if there isn't any young one from juve's farm system.

could juve be done with summer transfers?

Yep, both Ranieri and Gigli said no more transfers. The only thing they still might do is get another backup keeper.

They still have Legro, Mellberg, Knezevic in center d along with Chiellini so I don't see them doing anything. Ranieri asked for two solid players in every position and I guess he has them though theres still improvement needed:

Buffon/Belardi
Grygera/Zebina, Legro/Mellberg, Chiellini/Knezevic, Molinaro/De Ceglie.
Camoranesi/Marchionni, Sissoko/Poulsen/Tiago, Zanetti/Marchisio/Almiron, Nedved/Giovinco.
Trez/Amauri, Del Peiro/Iaquinta.
Add Salihamidzic in whichever position he's needed. Tiago or Almiron(most likely almiron) will probably be sold or loaned.
We also have Ekdal in midfield who is 19 years old, I don't know anything about him and wonder if we will loan him out.

Juve lost 1-0 to Piacenza

Belardi, Zebina, Legro, Mellberg, Molinaro, Marchionni, Tiago, Zanetti, Nedved, Amauri, Trezeguet started.

Not sure how they lost but it's not important

Tiago is almost out the door to Atletico Madrid. They are offering €11million. Rumor has it that we will use that money to make a run at Van Persie...but dont count on that lol

Wednesday they have a friendly vs brondby.

Poor transfers from Juventus , especially in midfield and in defense . Amauri is a nice addition , but we already had a attack .
Again all hopes will be on Tiago in the centre .

i wouldn't say they were poor transfers, outside amauri they weren't that spectacular, but i think they help to have a solid deep team. i think juve isn't ready to make a big transfer yet, maybe next summer.

While I think the Poulsen transfer wasn't necessary, the transfers weren't "poor" because they help our depth a lot. but I still think they lacked that one transfer that someone like Alonso, Aquilani or Diego would have solved.

I really don't think any hopes are on Tiago...we saw that him and Almiron were poor transfers last year. Sissoko and Zanetti/Poulsen are the starters. He still may even be sold to Atletico Madrid.

Due to their opposition with how the club is being run, Juventus supporters on vecchiasignora.com are planning to organise an open protest on the streets against the club’s leadership.

The grievances are long but they include the failure to keep the promise of signing a top class centre midfielder this summer, as well as the general lack of investment during the past three summers.

Yesterday fans on the Juve website vecchiasignora.com threatened to organise an open protest on the streets against the club’s management. Grievances included failures in the transfer market, broken promises, and the reluctance to protect the club.

Users of this forum have now launched yet another campaign, this time against the possible swap deal involving Giovinco and Arsenal forward Robin Van Persie.

It was reported in the press over the weekend that Juve are considering making a move for Van Persie, and that it is possible Giovinco could be offered in part exchange.

Juve wins away against Brondby 2-1. goals by Amauri and Iaquinta and they scored a pk.
Juve played well and I was impressed by Ekdal who has potential at center mid.

Before signing with Poulsen , Blanc said Juventus had around 30 mln for tranfers which Juve could spen to buy Alonso /and Pool wanted for him around 20 mln / .
Another option was to sell Tiago / Monaco offered 7-9 mln / + 27-8 mln budget , juve colud've bought Diego , easally .

Juve beat Borussia Dortmund a few days ago 3-1. Iaquinta scored two, Amauri one. They seem to be very comfortable together up top...its going to be hard to get all 4 forwards the playing time they deserve.
Poulsen made his debut and got a nice long ball assist to Iaquinta.

Tonight is Trofeo TIM...Juve, Milan and Inter have all play eachother in 45 minute games.
I kind of forgot how the whole thing works, but if I remember correctly, the winner of the first game sits out for a game and then plays who they havent played yet.

trez scored and they won 1-0, but the goal should not have been allowed as he was offsides. They played better though.

i watched that game, they played pretty well, they look organized and balanced. nothing out of the box, but they look like a worked team.

on the other hand i didn't see the hamburg game, but 3-0?

i didn't know about how the pts. were awarded, i think it's a good thing to give extra ones for every goal scored.

They didn't play well against Hamburg, but not as bad as the score reflects. it was boring as hell and they got a goal taken back that was not offsides. biggest problem was poulsen and ekdal who in the center could not control anything, perhaps because they were still getting used to eachother?
Then Hamburg scored in the last minute after we had a good goal scoring chance. then on the kickoff a lazy camoranesi assumed the game would be over and just touched the ball. the hamburg forward sprinted to it and him and his teammate made a couple passes running down the field and at the top of the box one of them ripped a nice shot. so they scored two goals in the last 10 seconds.
