Arsenal needs to quit screwing around and lock up 3rd place already. Tottenham and Newcastle are literally handing it to them and they're not capitalizing on the opportunity.

I can only imagine how pissed of Gerrard is. Would have been so much worse if it hadn't gone in, he would have been going nuts. But that strike looked fantastic from so far out. Sure the game seemed decided but still, wasn't the smartest play to have made.

Good result. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Torres is actually on fire.

Absolutely ran the midfield today with Mata and Essien.

Congrats to Torres, I will say I was one of his doubters but I really hope this is the turning point to his career. Despite the stick that he got from everybody he just works hard and has a tremendous work rate. I'm happy for him, but let's see how he carries on after.

Now, let's go Blackburn, need Hoilett and Paul Robinson to continue their recent form

It's just great that everyone's finding form at the perfect time.

Tottenham, Barca, Arsenal, Barca, QPR, Newcastle, Liverpool x 2, Blackburn, Bayern in 35 days.

Win, Win, Draw, Draw, Win so far. Goals scored = 14, goals conceded = 4.

Di Matteo has at least deserved a 1 year contract.

United are packing it in the midfield: Nani, Carrick, Scholes, Park, Giggs

That line-up will have trouble keeping up with Barry, Toure and Silva, Nasri, Tevez I think.

I still can't believe United didn't pick up a center midfielder last summer...
