That Mbappe goal gets better every time you look at it. The first-time volley on a dime...

Don't joke, man, there's word of MERS being an issue at the WC. Not saying at all that it's what's going on here, but that would be a horrible outcome from one of the WC's we've seen in years.

If Argentina lose it's on Otamendi...SIgh...

It works in tournaments, especially if you have Lionel Messi, but in league, I think you still need more creativity.

"redefining the central mid"... lol, come on

The way soccer matches can turn on a dime is pretty much unmatched. In football, basketball, baseball, etc you can obviously erase huge deficits like any other sport-- my NFL team just had the biggest comeback in league history yesterday -- but it takes time and you can see it unfolding. In soccer, all you need is a few minutes.

clearly not a penalty what?

The one replay we got showed the kicking motion by the defender missed the ball and hit the attacker's foot. But like I said, I only got one zoomed-in replay and tbh I couldn't really tell anything in real-time, so I may be wrong.

So there should have been an indirect kick given now, Argentinian player returns the ball to the keeper and he takes it in hand ? :o
