Kuyt deserves major props for his performance defensively, he completely took Isla out of the game.

De Jong has been playing like a boss in midfield, breaking up plays left and right.

Executed the plan almost to perfection. Proud of the team. Robben is GOAT type player. Depay is going to be amazing in the future.

I don't know what drugs he takes but they must be good.

Today was not even a good performance to his standards. Watch the DFB Pokal final. Other players were lying on the pitch exhausted & had cramps in extra time. Robben was running around like he had just warmed up. Looked like he didn't even sweat.

Go figure - they play Villa and Juanfran and something occurs positively on the pitch. Del Bosque is a **** moron. It just baffles my mind how Villa didn't play every minute of every game.

Robben, Neymar and Messi = Best players in this World Cup so far.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Robben and Neymar sure. Messi, despite his goals which have admittedly been huge for Argentina, has been relatively poor.

2 Game winning goals is enough for me.

He's actually the only player to score for Argentina so far. And the own goal vs Bosnia was after a Messi freekick.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

That own goal had little to do with Messi being Messi as much as it was a dumbass move by Kolasinac.

Like it or not, people expect guys like Messi and Ronaldo to shine on the biggest stage there is in football. Not like Argentina doesn't have the 'means' to do so considering the attacking talent they have plus the easy group they've been fortunate enough to be given unlike CR7, but I disgress.

Robben and Neymar have been the best players up to this point.

Good call, though I think the French haven't had to rely as much on him as Brazil and Holland have had to do so on Neymar and Robben (also taking into account the quality of the opponents they've had to face). Still, Benzema rightfully belongs in the conversation.
