Dude has probably never seen a Tuchel Mainz 05 game. They always played similar to the way Dortmund are doing now only the individual quality was obviously lower.

Well, Scholl's also the guy ducking every question about Lahm not being a real cm during last years world cup just to still be welcomed at Bayern.

BTW:
- Hojbjerg to Leverkusen seems to be a done deal
- Dante to Wolfsburg could happen soon as well
- Embolo could be joining Wolfsburg

Seems like Joo-Ho Park will be sold to Dortmund for just 3 mil. €. F*ck Heidel. Gives away a solid starter for free. :nonono:

I know that 1-1 is a fine result for us given the money-gap, and holding onto a 1-0 lead is unrealistic with our D. But giving RedBull the equalizer off of an own goal after the 80th minute still hurts.

Ricardo Rodriguez is such a monster. It will suck to see him leave the BuLi for Real next summer.

Actually, I'm surprised he isn't moving heaven and earth to get out right away. I certainly wouldn't blame him with Allofs discarding all football related ambitions Wolfsburg had this season three days before the transfer window ends.

Probably the only thing keeping him in Wolfsburg is that they signed his younger brother this offseason.

Everyone here living in the US: be sure to watch all the games on Fox this year or set your DVR to record them. Ideally they will get high enough ratings and continue to grow in their broadcasting of Bundesliga.

Even if you aren't going to watch, DVR it anyway then delete it later. Anything helps

They'd be much better if they had actually signed Tuchel.

Tuchel is a really smart coach. He is getting rid of all the players who are not committed to doing everything it takes to win very quick. You can already see it in Dortmund. He got rid of Immobile, Kampl, Jojic really quick. Großkreutz and Ramos seem the next one's out the door.

Huntelaar is probably the first guy Tuchel would've gotten rid of at Schalke.

Eh, KdB was unreal after settling in with them, but people will be surprised by VFL this year. Schurrle should settle in soon and Schurrle coming in from the left while Kruse is drifting out wide from the middle with Perisic coming down the right, could be utterly lethal once the gel. And with Gustavo, Arnold and Guilavogui they've got some good players for the midfield as well.

They need to buy another dynamic talent, ideally two, but I like both Praet and Ziyech as young 10s they're heavily linked to; and I wouldn't be surprised if Draxler joined them and he thrived on the right side of Schurrle-Kruse...should Perisic get sold. With Gotze and Isco possibly looking for a guaranteed starting spot on a CL side in this EM year, there's players out there for them to spend their money on if they can get it done to add to the strong group they've still got.

TBH I'm much more concerned by their plan at CB, even if they complete the Dante transfer since both he and Naldo are really old and upgradeable, while Knoche and Klose are not standouts by any stretch of the imagination.

You are kidding yourself if you think Wolfsburg could sign Götze or Isco. And they won't sign Draxler either with three days left.

Yes, they still got some good players. But I don't know how you can throw away the ambitions to play at least for the German Cup and a spot among the CL knockout stage by selling two of your most important players three days before the transfer window ends without any sort of replacement on the horizon.

Perisic sucks.

Gotze and Isco aren't joining them.

Dante is old but still very good for some reason.

I guess we'll see if they can sign Draxler soon enough; as they're supposedly working feverishly on making that happen right now. But as I said, I like Ziyech and Praet a lot for them as 10s as well; even if they don't yet have that level of hype or quite the same ceilings as Gotze/Isco/Drax. Plus going that way would leave them more money to throw at Monaco for Martial or Basel for Embolo.

If it were my call I'd have been recruiting Dzagoev and Kokorin/Volland all summer. Alan so needs to play in a bigger league with a better team. Watching him play Musa and Doumbia in is fun and all, but he's not growing much anymore. He's gotten all he can out of the RPL other than the fat paycheck. I understand him not wanting to risk struggling to adapt to a bigger league in the run up to the EM; but it's not like he has Capello's full trust starring for CZKA. If he could thrive in a bigger league with more talented players on his team and his opponents; that could be what he needs to become Capello's star and a fixture in all of their plans...rather than the joker/part time starter he is for the NT now. Kokorin similar needs to take the next step to a better league and CL football; which Dzagoev at least still sees with CZKA; and Volland was open to a move earlier in the summer before deciding to stay.

Draxler making the move to Wolfsburg would be even more brutal for Schalke fans than Neuer to Bayern. It's one thing loving to Bayern, but to Wolfsburg? He wont be able to go back go Gelsenkirchen.
Dirk Nowitzki, Steve Nash, Kevin Garnett, Toni Kroos, Pep Guardiola, Ernst Happel, Joachim Löw.

Ladies and gentlemen,

here is Donis Avdijaj. He is supposed to be one of Schalke's best talents but doesn't seem to be the smartest guy on the planet.

I would try to translate it but I just can't.
With 15 mil. € he would build himself a swimming pool and swim in money and then he'd buy horses who are supposed to watch him swimming in money.
What he likes about himself: He's horny.
What he doesn't like about himself: He's horny.
What job he'd like to do if he wouldn't play football: animateur.
What he'd do if he was a woman: He'd try to be incredibly appealing but not let men have sex with him.

Edit: on further youtube research here is another class interview from him:

lol he is certainly an amusing character...I hope he can grow into Albania's Hagi/Stoichkov, cause he has really fun talent and a great joy to his game.

And if you think he seems like he's not very bright based off of that video; you severely over-estimate the intelligence of the average footballer because of some exceptions like Netzer and Hummels.
