I do hear you, which is why when I read back I really thought about Torres, but they both bring the same thing if placed down that wing. Pace, defensive discipline, and willingness to track back which are going to be essential in this game since I feel Guardiola is going to play Pedro down the left. Also, there left side is our best chance of getting a goal. The only reason why I would play Torres is that it would make us very flexible, we coule play 4-4-2 with the ball on the break and cause some problems and switch back to 4-5-1 without the ball.
I do like your lineup but I'd prefer to get Mata involved early in hopes of sneaking a goal, putting him put there later on won't do much since dribbling with the ball and running at people is not his best attribute, it's more looking up and finding that pass, which we would do better with fresher legs.
