mexicans must be cursing out that ref in the cameroon game, that would've locked the first place

Never get a heart transplant from this Croatian team. There would be nothing to transplant.

Well that Mexico-Croatia game escalated very quickly

Whereas this Brazil-Cameroon game has dwindled to a dull game

EDIT: Fernandinho scores

This Mexican side hasn't conceded a goal so far in the tournament. It'll be hard for the Dutch to score.

I'm starting to think Chile dodged a bullet losing today. Best offense vs best defense. That'll be good.

neymar was in and out of barca this year too because of injuries and what not. But yeah its hard for gotze but really he knew what he was signing up for.

I've said this before, but it bears repeating again. Both Neymar and Götze are good and will be great players.

The competition Götze has to deal with at Bayern in particular matters, but it's not the sole reason why Neymar's more valuable to his national team. Hypothetically speaking, even if Brazil had more reliable options to work with up front, Neymar would still be as valuable as he is right now. Why? Neymar has that special ability - that only a few have in the world - to be the focal point of an offense and succeed. We've seen him (somewhat) successfully fill that role for both Brazil and Barcelona (when Messi was injured early in the season). Neymar, being reduced to a complementary player (which is what's asked of him @ Barca) is far less of a threat to opponents, and it's something he needs to work on.

I see Götze more as a (very skilled and talented) complementary player, who'd fit and flourish in nearly every system, but currently perhaps has a few better options ahead of him that can fill that complementary role.

Both are wonderful players in their own way though.

Still, MEX had 267 scoreless minutes. Impressive.

Edit: Rebic sees red. What a MORON!! That foul was a potential leg breaker.
