lol at Sterlings defense on Kane on his goal. Just gave up on the play completely... what a nice win for Spurs.

I don't know, not watching in real time, but that looks like a classic instance where he would have only gotten the retaliator and not noticed the instigator without replay. Ziyech probably doesn't shove Royal in the face if Royal doesn't hit him in the back first. And then we have to do the whole play-acting thing where we pretend that was a closed fist to provoke punishment from the official, which is never not lame. But without the foul that started the whole thing you don't really have full context.

Poor little Arsenal.

Anyone would think that they've done sweet FA for 20 years.

You've been incredibly lucky with injuries yet you're crying about the Man city reject. Having said that my prayers are with both Jorghino and Xhaka who must surely have many broken bones, having seen their display yesterday.

Just look at the what you're saying loool it isn't me that's crying and embarrassing myself

"after watching all the top teams , arsenal are actually not that good how are they ahead they are badddddddd, united are better!!!"
"the man city reject" lool we have 2 of them , i'll take more of them , you'll take some of them , anyone would take Gabriel Jesus ffs
"we defended with 11 behind the ball and didn't even bother attacking but hey we locked up the arsenal goddddd"
"omggg arsenal haven't done anything in 20 years!!"
"trossard is overrated , jorginho is overrateddddddd"

You've been losing all season and haven't reacted like this , I don't get it. Do you think losing to Arsenal is above leicester? All I said in the thread was attacking the VAR ref and it's been nothing but potshots at Arsenal LOL

Wasn't he the same guy who didn't even give a yellow for the disgusting Sabitzer on Faes last week?

You were crying that the ref didn't give you a penalty and allow you a goal. Diddums.

Anyone who was a neutral who watched the Leicester Arse game will confirm that Arsenal were poor. You can't handle the truth. You may have been good earlier in the season but you were piss poor yesterday. If you play like that till the end of the season you won't even make Europe whether you are 5 points ahead of second now or not.

There are too many fans on this board who follow "big" teams and then think fans of normal clubs should join them in a wank circle when they actually do what they should be doing.

Is Potter going to last the rest of the season?

All that money Chelsea spent, who’s going to mold the club out of all those players?

Spurs in that chase for top 4 season are different Animals , just win every game.

^^The club's not even on trajectory for top 6 currently, but Boehly is an unknown in this regard and anything's possible. Also what level alternatives would this Chelsea have? I'm skeptical most elite managers would be interested in working under Boehly currently after the capricious Tuchel sacking and breaking some of Chelsea's best processes and infrastructure.

I don't really know what's going on with Spurs. We have a good squad but we aren't very good, although we seem to be much better with Stellini helming the team rather than Conte.

I feel like the players feel like they're under more pressure when Conte is in the dugout. Stellini is just relaying Conte's tactics so it's not a tactical thing, and yet we haven't lost with Stellini taking over manager duties and the performances have been better. I can only really speculate, it's so strange.

Feels like we never beat Chelsea. Buzzing about this. Never thought I'd see Chelsea this poor again in my lifetime, you love to see it.

Now I can sit back and enjoy the League Cup final.

They're also home games, and Conte has experience managing a team to wins remotely at Juve when he was banned for a few games.

He shouldn't. He is awful, but at this point the season is lost already, so they might just wait to see if any manager that they like might become available. They are not in real danger of relegation so they can wait.

Job done. Not sure if there is a cup thread so here we go. About time we got some silverware. Casemiro, Varane and Licha are monsters.

You can never be sure with any club but I think they'll look at Arsenal and think they need to give him this season as well as the summer training

The final was a very professional performance. Managed the game well, and generally stifled a lively looking Newcastle team.

United have been playing as strong a team as they can field in the cup competitions and it's paying dividends, and it doesn't seem to have hurt their league form. They play West Ham at Old Trafford in the FA Cup later today and I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't that many changes from the team that played in the cup final at the weekend.

Ten Hag is doing a good job. I think he's basically achieved in 8 months what Arteta has at Arsenal in 4 years. That's not to disparage the job that Arteta's doing, but just to highlight how fast he's turned around the rot and toxicity at United, and has previously out of form players performing well alongside the new signings. They all seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet.

Casemiro's my favorite big game player. He started in all 5 CL finals Madrid won, including 2014 where he took Xabi Alonso's (my favorite passer) spot since the latter carded out in the semifinals. He's also overall had a bunch of man of matches in cup finals generally, including in the last game Casemiro played for Madrid.

I saw a stat during the final that said he's won 10 of the 12 finals he's participated in. 11 out of 13 now, I suppose.

I know he's been on some great teams, but that's an impressive record.
