Of course I'm praising his achievements when he is compared to Voronin who had exactly one great season for the club...which wasnt even in the Bundesliga.

Geis for example had multiple good seasons in the Bundesliga but according to you he is rated lower than Voronin....this is really getting laughable.

Nothing against Voronin, though. This guy scored twice vs Bayern last time we beat them. We actually led the league after that game. I was there too...atmosphere was great with all the bandwagon fans.

Good times

I remember when Voronin played for Liverpool, he became kind of a cult hero there despite having a torrid time adjusting to the English game. Man played like he was constantly stuck in quicksand.

And yet he still managed to score against Spurs each time we played them.

It's funny how Sovjet players flop so hard every time they go to England.

Arshavin, Voronin, Shevchenko, Zhirkov, Rebrov, Pavlyuchenko, Bilyatedinov etc.

You would think it's something mentally and that they can't settle in a foreign country/culture but then you see how many Russian players dominate in the NHL and it kinda kills that argument.

Xhaka to Arsenal seems to be pretty much done but just on hold so that Borussia's able to secure a replacement within time.

That replacement could even be Youri Tielemans of RSC Anderlecht.

According to Express, Bild and Kicker Mainz keeper Loris Karius will sign with Liverpool for an opt out of €9 - €10 M.

Amazing. Think we all miss Dynamo Dresden in the Bundesliga. Sleeping giant with terrific fans.

As I said...team will once again lose at least 3 of it's 5 or 6 most important players.

Karius played an amazing season, though and could've left last season for free but resigned. I don't blame him if he leaves at all.

This is just a frustrating end to the season.

Next season will be incredibly tough.

I am very happy that Dresden's secured promotion back into the 2. Bundesliga. Hope they make it to the Bundesliga eventually.

Yeah, they're fantastic, especially if you want your city "redecorated" when they come visit you.

Welcome to the club.
Stranzl, Brouwers, Nordtveit, Hrgota, Xhaka...

BTW: Those relegation playoffs of Frankfurt vs Nürnberg should be interesting. Frankfurt doesn't know how to create anything and they'll have to as I doubt Nürnberg will play into their cards and play anything but counter attacking football.

Sucks for Stuttgart. Det and Nathan knows better than me how it feels to get relegated, but it must be awful for those fans who have seen their team win the league, be in Cup finals and play CL in the last decade.

And he keeps on trolling.

This place would be so much better without No_20.

Actually, I think relegation might be a blessing in disguise for Stuttgart. Now they have the chance to get rid of a lot of guys, trim the budget down and attack with a new group of young players.

Sad to see two former champions go down to BL2 ( and possibly three if Frankfurt loses promotion playoff)

whilst "artificial" teams like Hoffenheim and ingolstad stay soon to be joined by nauseous Red Bull Leipzing
