Hard not to pick Uruguay they have been one of the best teams in the World Cup. South Korea is scrappy though, they will keep it close IMO.

IMO this is Uruguay's game to lose, if they play like they have during the group stages, they should coast through.

I'm hoping for a South Korean win, but I'm expecting a Uruguay victory. I think it should be a close contest though.
All in all, I'm happy Korea advanced out of the group stages. They proved they could do it outside of home soil. Any win for Korea from this point on, although unlikely, will be pure gravy to me.

Re: Round of 16 Discussion: Uruguay vs. S. Korea
Korea's already done about as well as anyone could have expected. The whole campaign here was to reach the round of 16.
That being said, while Uruguay is the clear favourite, as far as group winners go, they aren't all that great. Haven't conceded a goal yet though, which is impressive.
A few things go right for Korea, and Uruguay is definitely beatable. But realistically, Uruguay probably takes it.

Re: Round of 16 Discussion: Uruguay vs. S. Korea
This will be a fun game. Uruguay will let Korea play really aggressive and really go at that tight defense, while Uruguay will wait to exploit an over committed South Korea on the break. I've got Uruguay going through but this should be fun to watch.

Just a trivia tid-bit: Korea and Uruguay have met each other 5 times previously. Uruguay won 4 times and tied once.

Forlan the one man wrecking ball and his trusty sidekick Suarez, one of the most chronic and shameless floppers in the World Cup, take it for Uruguay.
Suarez= only bad thing about Uruguay. Dude flops so much.

South Korea is one good goal keeper away from being really respectable.

yeah, mistake by him for sure, but very sneaky clever goal. imo
S-Korea really started great though, now Ururguay is going to pull back... it's going to be tougher now.
